Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Karen Silliest product I have ever purchased.
I couldn't imagine how this vent cap could work...and it didn't. The replacement vent is held onto the old vent with a foam rubber gasket. Then you use screws to hold two foam gaskets together. As you can predict, screwing into foam does not work. The cap fell off within 2 days. I had to chalk one foam gasket to my bricks and the other to the second gasket. Even the Home Depot associate was skeptical about who well this product would work. Unfortunately, there are not many replacement options for old vents that can not be removed.

It is sort of universal. But the holes in my siding didn't match so I had to drill new ones. Other than that it's about a 5 minute job.

Fit up was easy, wasn't a exact replacement it required a little modification but was easy.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Craig Definitely works. Remember to remove slats before installing.
A little pricer than generic vent cap. Most of the time that product is sufficient. Good to know that this one is available.

Worked out fine. I didn't end up using the foam backing that came with it, but instead just caulked the outside. I put this on our cedar shingled house to vent the upstairs bathrooms.
