Answer:
This product is 2158A UL listed and marked for safe dryer venting. Some building codes and dryer manufacturers do recommend you use an all aluminum product that is totally non-combustible, instead of a flexible aluminum foil duct.

Answer:
I have read a suggestion on another site to make an intentional "dip" in the duct run, so any condensation would collect there, rather than come back in the house.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dryer Vent I haven't had time to use it, however pretty sure it will be exactly what in need. I purchase a cabin on the lake, they vented a dryer through the roof and hand a rectangle (2 inch x 6 inch) vent in the ceiling. I need an adapter to get from the dryer up to the adapter on the rectangle adapter. I''m glad they had it in the store. Thanks, Otis

It is more flexible than the other options I saw and that was what I needed. The flexibility allow fitting the dryer to a wall vent that otherwise would have require several severe 90 degree turns. With the flexibility, the curves could be very gentle which cuts down a lot on lint buildup in the hose.

This replaced the standard, poor fitting aluminum one on my dryer which was maddeningly frustrating to use. It went on perfectly without any headache. You will need to buy the metal clamps for each end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fit for use. I had a tight spot for my clothes dryer so I purchased a tight fit duct from another supplier and used the flexible vent to connect to the outside flue. Works fine.
