Answer:
The track can be cut down but you are going to want to make a nice and straight cut. You also need to make sure as to not bend the track through the cutting process.

Answer:
The hangers are labeled as #1 and #2 when manufactured. The numbering is stamped when the part is manufactured so you need to look closely at each hanger.

Answer:
Yes, this model could be mounted under a bar. However this is designed for sliding closet doors. Also you would need to cut the track down a little to fit.

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Everything you need except the door the door I’m not sure how much I can say about this. It has all the fittings that you need to install a sliding door. It has the rail, the wheels to attach to the door, the guides to go in the floor, and the handles to go in the door. It also has detailed instructions. It all looks well made, so I have nothing negative to say about it. I prefer the sliding doors to the bi-fold ones so I want to replace mine. March 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy Replacement I have replaced almost all of the closet door sliding hardware in my 55 year old house with this hardware set from Home Depot. My doors slide open and closed much more easily now. The channel is easily cut with a hacksaw if necessary. The rollers and door guides are a combination metal and plastic, but have lasted well. The upper door rollers have a "cam" mechanism for adjusting the height of the doors. It's easy! September 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easier than other tracks I find this product very easy to install.I like that the screws are mount to the side of the door others are on top of the door. It's every easy to adjust the height by turning the knob .Hint:There are 4 track wheels,2 are different make sure the one that curve more goes on the back track and the one that is not that curve goes in front. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by works great so nice to finally have closet doors in older home functioning again and with a low cost simple fix, wish we'd done it years ago! February 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy install The sliding door track and rollers are extremely easy to assemble and install. November 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Finishing Touch In Our Bedroom The rail is strong and sturdy, easily spanning the necessary length of the closet. The pre-drilled holes made the installation easy and quick. The guide wheels were easy to install into the hollow core doors and grab nicely without tearing out or causing damages to the doors. The wheels are easily adjustable and make it easy to balance the doors and keep them straight. The base guides keep the doors in line and ensure they are kept in place and not rock out of the track. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great item, easy to install if you read the directions I love these tracks. They roll great and were fairly easy to put up. It would have been even easier if I had bothered to read the directions better. The rollers that go on the door are slightly different. two of them are offset deeper than the other two to ensure enough space between the doors to slide. I had one of each, on each door..needless to say they were catching on each other and it took me a minute and some reading to figure out why. Worth the upgrade if your tracks are wearing out. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not work with 1- 3/8 doors I replaced my old luan sliding doors with new 6 panel sliding doors and was happy to see that the new track was wider. After following the instructions, I could not get the doors to slide past each other without rubbing. I ended up using my old hangers which provided enough offset to hang doors without rubbing.
