7 x 19 wire rope is constructed of seven strands of nineteen wires. 7 x 19 is stronger than 7 x 7 and has excellent flexibility and good abrasion resistance. Superior strength allows for multiple uses, such as guy wires, net suspension, animal leash, tether lines and winches. Warning: Do not use for overhead lifting and never exceed the working load limit. Not intended for use as a safety device or in any application where a failure may result in bodily injury or property damage.

what size chain do the grab hooks fit?

I want to get two short lengths of chain to fit the grab hooks.the chains will be wrapped around snowmobile fittings in order to move snowmobile with come-alongs. The wire rope with grab hooks extend my reach.

Answer: 
The channel where chain would connect to this grab hook should measure 0.44 in. Any chain with links that will fit in that size channel will work with this hook.

I bought it together with the Masdam power pull to move a large granite slab (2'x8'x8"deep) that had fallen off the top of a stone fence in my front yard. The cable lifted the slab with no problem. One note, the hooks are too narrow to attach to the power puller's hooks directly. A clevis was required for the connection. July 7, 2012
