The Everbilt 72 in. Bi-Fold Sliding Door Set allows 2 sliding closet doors to move smoothly and quietly. It is designed for doors with a thickness of 3/4 - 1-3/8 in. that weigh up to 60 lb. Its floor guide can withstand strong impacts and the jump-proof V-shaped track is made with corrosion-resistant galvanized steel for durability.

Answer: 
Yes you can Butt two together, however the rail may need some slight bending to match perfectly. I had to "bend" mine with an open end crescent loosely fitted.

After installing one I can't see why this wouldn't work. The track has no end cap. The 1 3/8 door is too thick for proper pass over so as long as your using some 1 inch or less it should work fine.

In product details, it shows that supports the door up to 60lb. Does it mean up to 60lb/panel. 72inch closet door usually has two panels.

The track is mounted at the top of the door opening so the ceiling height is not a factor. Your 4" space would not present any problem. The trim around the door will need to be about 4" wide or a little more so that the track and rollers are not visible.
