So three packages were good, however last one had four seems running through it. Meaning you could trip, catch stuff on it etc. not a flat piece of canvas with writing on it. I'm thinking scrap end piece. Well for 21.00 not ok. Sell scrap as just that. Other three are fine but bummed about this one.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by PaulZak Heavy & nice but some irregularity
We bout 6 of these and used them for outdoor porch curtains. They worked very well but two had bag snags or holes in them and these were returned. (I bought extra, anticipating this problem.) I wouldn't even use those on the floor to cover for painting projects. Also, the edges aren't sewn very well and the sizes are irregular. Some varied by 6 or more inches in total size. Since I tailored them heavily for the curtains, that wasn't a big problem.
Otherwise, the material is heavy and the color a very light off-white. They washed well but needed to be iron for curtains (not for drop cloth use). I hope HD continues to carry them. We were told at the store they weren't being continued so we had to order them on-line.

way better than plastic sheets, used this to protect my wood floors while I textured and painted the ceilings. Doesn't bunch up on you, doesn't have that annoying sound you hear when walking on 6 mil plastic or blue tarps for 2 days, \shook off the dust and rolled it up, and expect it to last me 10 years or more. initial outlay is more than plastic, but overall a better value I think- if you are going to do multiple jobs over the coming year(s)

The product is perfect for this purpose. There are actually two panels seamed together making this into one large cloth. Splitting down the center allows enough to make two Panels measuring 50"x 90" or four measuring 50"x 52" Launder the fabric before measuring, cutting, and sewing as the canvas does shrink.

We are using it as a projector screen in our barn for movie night! It smoothed out all by itself and is working wonderfully!!!

I spilled paint on it and it leaked right through to floor beneath... I will stick with plastic tarps from now on.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mmeyer Nice but horizontal seam
I purchased this to use for making curtains for a massive window in my bedroom. (I would love to buy Restoration Hardware Belgian linen but I'd have to mortgage my home to afford them.) The seam runs horizontally so it won't work for my project. The color is a grayish tan with very slight colored flecks running through it that you can only see up close. They are very subtle and actually add a sort of textured look that was nice. I liked the color and the fabric looks like a rustic linen. I would need to double the canvas to help block enough light for sleeping in my room and it would still allow light through, but would work. I think this would have worked great if the seam ran lengthwise. I do not know if every package is the same or not.
