Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Flush Vallve Actuator for AS Straightforward installation. Getting the nut tight on the screw was a little dicey. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great item- easy swap out with the one that wasn't working I had an issue with the old valve that was broken and no longer working. I thought I would have to take everything apart, however, this made an easy swap out... turned off the water, popped out that old one and popped in the new one... took like 10 mins to fix something that I had put off days to work on. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Flimsey; Broke during installation The part broke during installation. Very flimsy. Do not waste your time or money. December 29, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by good product The product works well however its not a complete kit as you need the tank seal and new screws that doesnt come with it. I returned to home depot and it seems they dont carry a tank seal for american standard . I purchased a universal seal which worked but it took me two trips to complete the job. November 10, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by one size fits all The lower hinge applications don't hold up. May get you out of bind, I ended up changing toilet. July 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great great product, would recommend, easy to install, . March 10, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by It fits but doesn't work It fits my older low-profile American Standard toilet, and opening the package was harder than installing it. Swap out the blue support for the red one, then it snaps right in. The problem is that as the tank fills back up, the actuator buoys back up, allowing more water to flow into the toilet and never allowing it to finish. The float just bounces up and down forever. So I ended up taking the rubber seat disc off this one and using it to replace the old, crumbly, leaky one on the actuator I'd just taken out of the toilet. It fit. It leaks every once in a while but at least we can use the toilet again. It seems like a waste to buy this kit and use one piece out of the package. I don't know if the seat disc is available separately. American Standard parts are incredibly hard to come by and they're usually crazy expensive, so when my toilet started acting up at 8:30 at night, having this option is better than nothing. But I wouldn't look to this as a long-term solution for a problematic AS toilet. November 5, 2014
