Customer Reviews

Flush Valve Gasket for Mansfield is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from "Spin the seal" "Spin the seal". These three simple words need to be added to the end of step 3 in the instructions. If the seal can spin with minimal force, you know the seal is seated in the top groove on the flush valve. Credit for the tip goes to Youtuber Steven Lavimoniere. If it hadn't been for that simple tip I probably would have been disassembling the flush valve next...well wait a minute, I guess that would have meant more $$$ to you!

First time I fixed this problem a few years ago, I bought entire flush valve kit. This time I just replaced the gasket and now the leak (toilet would keep running) is fixed. Would recommend this simple, inexpensive fix before replacing everything in the tank! Live and learn, right?

I was replacing a 17 year old gasket, the original was grey, bowed and not as flexible as this red one. The original was so hard it would sometimes take a few "half presses" on the flush button to make a "good seal". I installed this in 3 minutes, turned the water back on and it sealed right away, like new on the first flush.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more toilet running during the night. This was an easy fix. Just pull the old gasket off and put the new one right back on. Be sure to stretch it over the first notch and not the second. Give it a spin to see if it's attached correctly. If it spins easily then put it back together and your done.
