Tried calling the other number in the Q&A, but they said they don't do locks. Locksmith wasted 3 blanks trying to figure out the key size.

I have an Everbilt dead lock that I can't use because I've misplaced the keys to it. If I sent you the dead bolt set that I bought from Home Depot, that requires key 232, could you send me a pair of keys that would make it usable?

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty Good product, sturdy, easy to install Only issue is I wish this kit came with a cutter in case the rod is too long and you have to cut it so everything would fit together. But I went back to home depot and the lock/key person helped me cut the rod to the right size, Excellent Service Suwanee, GA Home Depot. April 22, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by exact fit replacement for old Winfield lock This was a perfect fit replacement, so no complaints there. Plus, it was the least expensive of several clones of this type of lock design on the market. The materials are not the highest quality, but it is only for a garage door, to provide an anti-nuisance level of security. Regarding key function, the key retracts the deadbolt and allows the garage door handle to turn the actual door locking rods to the unlocked position, which also keeps the deadbolt retracted but in a ready, autolocking state once you turn the door handle back in the locked position. The key also functions to get the deadbolt to the autolocking position (i.e. door locks when the garage door handle is turned) if the deadbolt has been set from the inside in the fixed unlocked position. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by problem finding a key replacement Not recommended to purchase. I tried to get an extra key made at homedepot, lowes, walmart and ace hardware and a lock smith, they don't have the right size key. The thickness is hard to find on the key. Everyone that cut a key to the original but can fit in the key hole. So now I have to replace the whole unit with something else. July 11, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overall a good replacement for an existing garage door lock I recently purchased a home and needed to replace the garage door lock, and this set did the trick. Like another reviewer, I had an issue where as I was screwing in one of the bolts I went too far and the screw tip started poking through the lock face on the other side. But this is my own fault, as it does come with a shorter set of bolts to prevent this from happening. Granted, it would be nice if the product was a little more solid so that this could not happen so easily, but for the price I still think that it is a good value, and if I had to do it again I would make the same purchase. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This is a good lock, but... I have absolutely no complaints about the quality or performance of the lock. Seems to be very well made and works well. However, the key can not be removed in the unlocked position as the description says ... at least not in the way I anticipated. From the inside it's possible to turn the latch to a point that the deadbolt is held in the unlocked position but it is not possible to do that with the key from the outside. June 14, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Product I wanted to replace the old locks. When I tried to put this on the screw holes were not standard. they are a little wide so I had to drill the new holes. Other wise this is an excellent product for this price. June 26, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks like steel but is plastic- not sturdy It'll work but the reason I got this product is because the original cracked. May 14, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FIT PERFECT Perfect replacement for my 50 year old garage door installation. Even the original screw holes lined up. June 1, 2012
