I am looking for a low-profile bike hanger. Is there enough space between the wall and the bike paddle and handle bar? Could you include a photo? Thank you.

Answer:
The specs say it is approx. nine inches deep. Assuming you want to hang the bike by a wheel, the pedals should be okay, but the handle bar will probably be a problem. Measure from the center of the handle bar out the the end to verify. Maybe you can loosen the handle bar stem and turn it 90 degrees to keep everything low profile during storage.

Answer:
in order to hang a bike on this hanger i would loosen the nut at the top of the goose neck so you can turn the handle bars but keep the front wheel straight then just hang the bike.

Is the hardware that comes with the hanger ok to use in concrete? Or is special hardware/screws required and if so, what size concrete screws will fit into this hanger?

Answer:
The hardware that comes with these hangers is for wood or drywall installation. For concrete I used TapCon screws. They only require a hole drilled in the concrete for the screw to be started. You will spot them very easily by their blue color in the hardware department.

Answer:
The hardware that comes with the kit is designed for installation in a wall stud. If this product is being installed in concrete you will need to use 1/4” x 2-1/2” flat head screws with appropriate anchor.

What I am trying to do is hang a 40 lb x-ray machine from a drop ceiling so that it is 36 inches from the floor. Hardware to hang this should ideally have a hook on the end as it will hang by the handle of unit and only be used occasionally when needed. When not using x-ray it will not be hanging there. I should mention that this is a portable x-ray machine.

This is not at all suitable. This fastens to a wall, and is not movable

Answer:
40 lbs is too much to hang from a grid ceiling. You will need to anchor your hook(s) to the building structure.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 28 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value I needed something to hang some larger yard tools in my pole barn and these hangers worked out great. I bought several and hung them up in the pole barn. So far I've hung my gas weed whacker. gas blower, electric grass edger. electric hedge trimmer, electric chainsaw and a 6 foot aluminum ladder on them with no problems. They are sturdy and yet lightweight. All it took was 3 screws and they were up in a minute or so. I will definitely buy more of these as needed. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SURPRISINGLY STRONG! I bought this to hang a 12 foot kayak on the side of my shed. It's perfect. Strong enough to support the weight, and hooks are spread far enough apart to balance the load evenly. July 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great hanger The only reason four star was because it is a one ladder holder other than that it's great. June 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Purpose served well I was looking for something to hang my Jeep doors on for the summer. I looked at all of the jeep magazines and could not find anything as far as price point I wanted to spend. I ran across these and bought 4 of them. They work wonderful and and serve their purpose. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Not quite as expected but they work fine I really didn't expect these to be as heavy duty as they are. I have my 21 ft. Little Giant hanging on one, a 32 ft extension ladder on two of them, and an 18 ft. step ladder on two more. They seem to be very well made, if one of these will hold my Little Giant ladder, they were worth their purchase price. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Heavy Duty Hanger I have purchased several of these hangers. They are great for hanging step ladders and sawhorses on both interior and concrete walls. May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great to hold hoses/drop cord Good price and appears strong enough to hold hoses and drop cords. April 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very useful and economical item This item has a multitude of uses, and is made well, and is fairly low in price. February 16, 2016
