Answer:
You may call the manufacture and request they send another tip, however, that replacement will be of the same material and as such won't hold the door against a solid surface floor.
You may also try a walking cane rubber tip. Those are sold in hardware stores and medical supply houses and come in various sizes. We glue one to our door stop and that has to date solved the problem.

This device has detents in its travel so that it prefers to be straight up, straight horizontal, or just hovering above the floor. Yep, you read that right. Why on Earth this doorstop doesn't fall to the floor once it is pushed out of its straight up detent is beyond me. I had to disassemble this thing and use a Dremel to cut a channel in the brass to extend the detent so as to make it fall to the floor. This unit looks good but why they designed it with not one but three detents is a total mystery.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware! There are no replacement feet for this product... once the foot wears out, you will be replacing this product!!! Nice heavy design. Too bad they failed on the replacement parts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from When you want a heavy duty door stop! This is expensive - for a door stop - but it is sold as a commercial product. It is really HEAVY DUTY and very nice looking. I will be purchasing a few more as it really does the job. Only complaint - I wish it had a 'hook' on it, so you could use your foot to raise it up.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Paid extra for the COMMERCIAL(HEAVY DUTY) not worth it. Where the rubber meets the road is where this product fails. The rubber tip broke off after 2 weeks of use. No replacement parts at the store. Junk. But it looks nice

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Satin Chrome Commercial Grade Kick Down Doorstop After renovating our office, our handyman put one of these on our new front door. Since it worked so well to keep the door open, we decided to get another one for a different door that was a little heavier. Installation was not difficult; however, I highly recommend sticking to the instructions regarding measuring where the doorstop is supposed to go. The only uncomfortable part was having to lie on the ground to drill holes into a metal door so that we could install the doorstop. We're really satisfied with its performance!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from didn't meet expectations Rubber foot is too hard a material and as such doesn't hold door against a solid hard floor surface as one would expect. Overall quality is only fair, however, the product appears to be a quality product while in the packaging. I was fooled too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not good for smooth floors The hard rubber foot slides right over my wood floors. I had to coat the bottom with soft rubber to get it to keep the door open. This would probably work well on rough floors like carpet or concrete, but I would avoid it (unless you are willing to tinker, like me) on smooth floors. The cheaper models actually work better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product - heavy duty, well made Well made, heavy duty - especially the screws - they went in effortless into the door metal and the screw top didn't strip.
