Rated 1 out of 5 by from Everbilt kick down door stop 474 087 Installed eight of these on stainless doors. Complete junk that does not last several only lasted a few weeks.. Now i got holes in all my doors and having problems finding a better one that uses same bolt pattern. Should have done my homework before buying.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk, just as everyone else states. There is no spring steel, so the thing just flops down after about a week of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and Effective Door Stop There is a closet in my office and from time to time I prefer to have the door open. Left to its own devices the door will gently close but this door stop puts me back in control. When I want the door open I kick down the door stop and the aint going nowhere! The door stop is well made from steel with a rubber foot and it looks like it will last years and years. Full instructions on proper placement and installation are printed on the packet it came in.

The spring they use to hold it up is not made out of spring steel so it just wears out. I was able to take mine apart by drilling out the rivet. I inverted the non spring steel spring and put it back together. It seems to work. I might get a few months out of it. Cheap, don't waste your money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Manufacturing defect This product would probably work fine if the spring in it was made of spring steel instead of mild steel. Mine only worked correctly for about a week before it started falling down every time the door was closed.
