The doorstop is still in great shape but the rubber tips wear out and need to be replaced. Can a replacement of the tip be purchased?

Satin Nickel Kick Down Door Stop is rated 1.7 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Everbilt kick down door stop 474 087 Installed eight of these on stainless doors. Complete junk that does not last several only lasted a few weeks.. Now i got holes in all my doors and having problems finding a better one that uses same bolt pattern. Should have done my homework before buying.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk, just as everyone else states. There is no spring steel, so the thing just flops down after about a week of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and Effective Door Stop There is a closet in my office and from time to time I prefer to have the door open. Left to its own devices the door will gently close but this door stop puts me back in control. When I want the door open I kick down the door stop and the aint going nowhere! The door stop is well made from steel with a rubber foot and it looks like it will last years and years. Full instructions on proper placement and installation are printed on the packet it came in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These work fine for me I have had six of these installed for over ten years and they work fine. My only issue is you have to get the height exactly right on install or they won't hold the door in place. But they all stay up when not in use. I do lift them up barefoot or wearing socks, I don't kick them while wearing shoes. With six in the house, I'm not going to spend $10 more each...

We are using this door stop on a tile floor, and although it stops the door from closing there is some sliding when used preventing us from keeping the door open as wide as desired.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Manufacturing defect This product would probably work fine if the spring in it was made of spring steel instead of mild steel. Mine only worked correctly for about a week before it started falling down every time the door was closed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Door stops should last for years, not 2 or 3 months! I fully agree with the other comments, but I went a step further: I removed the "spring," and it is NOT spring metal, which is the problem. It is a 1/4" wide by about 1/32" thick piece of aluminum. Since I could bend it by hand I knew it wasn't spring metal. So, how much did the manufacturer save by using aluminum instead of spring metal (steel) - I don't know... maybe $0.02 per unit? I know that this was a little over $6 (with tax), but even at that price it was NO value. Had it lasted a year the value would have been "fair." I would have gladly paid an extra dollar to get a doorstop that lasted 2 years or more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from product lasted less than 2 years. The door stop does not have an adjustment screw to adjust the tension on the stop mechanism. Once the stop loosens up it will not stay in the up position, making the product useless. I have used the magnetic stops in the past and they are a much better choice.
