Customer Questions & Answers

Can this be used for staircase handrail? Instructions on package emphasize to install vertically. Seems to be in conflict...

On package: "NOTE: Bracket must be installed vertically." Home Depot's website says this bracket is for stairs, when filtered for stairs.
Asked by: PRD
Maybe the package instructions are referring to the BASE and it needs to be installed vertically as in 'on a wall' and not horizontally as in 'on a floor or ceiling'

what is the centerline-wall dimension?

Are these 304 or 316 stainless?
Asked by: John

Are these sturdy enough using only ONE center screw? Most other brackets use 3 screws.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better then I thought A bracket is a bracket and it installed easily because the screw sizing and threads were really good quality. What makes this product great is the quality of the finish of the bracket as well as the screws.
