I turned mine into a wet cut saw but I am sure the manufacture would frown on this.

This saw has a dust collecting port on the back side of the blade housing. Use the available dust collector that attaches to this port to control dust when cutting concrete.

Answer:
Yes with caution. I use mine with a GFCI extension cord this way i keep my workers safer. Use minimum water no flow just moist as you cut. If hose is too strong. Get a small bucket drill a tiny hole use it to flow water slowly out of it. Drag your tiny water bucket as you move with the saw. It will keep your work area wet.

No, because of the strong possibility of electrocution in attempting to use this saw around water, only use a shop vac or ventilation and fans to control dust while using this saw.

Hi Paul, sorry this saw can not be used with water, that would create the risk of electrical shock. However there is a dust collector accessory.

I can't say 100% (do not believe any jig/adjustment allows it) but I can say the saw is mainly meant for heavy use in cutting straight thru a block, and is very good at it. though it certainly is not meant for fine cuts or those requiring a specific depth.

There is a knob on the side of the blade guard. If you loosen the knob you are able to rotate the guard so that it will work as a guard if you are cutting a vertical cut. But if you have the saw sitting on the ground on the framework and then loosen the knob you will see that moving the guard will act as a depth stop if you keep the saw in a similar position when cutting. It is not going to be as accurate as say a table saw and raising the blade, but it will prevent you from cutting too deep. You will need to experiment with the adjustment to get the depth you want less than the 4" the blade will cut. Read Less

Answer:
This is confusing. There is no depth stop as there is on most circular saws. What determines the depth of the cut is the amount of pressure you apply to the saw and the 4" maximum cutting depth designed into the saw. What is adjustable is the blade guard. This adjustment offers the operator greater personal safety and ability to see the blade whether cutting a vertical surface or a horizontal surface.

Most 20 am plugs are different than 15 amp plugs. which requires an adapter. Most hardware stores have the adapters. But yes it will work on a 15 circuit, it may trip the breaker if you work it too hard but it will work fine. Just go slow to not draw so many amps.

Answer:
This plug is a 120 volt, 20 amp plug. Most 120 volt plugs and outlets found in the average home are 120 volt, 15 amp. The difference is that the 15 amp plugs/outlets have 2 flat blades along with the round grounding lug. The 20 amp plug has the round grounding lug, one flat blade and one T shaped blade. So be sure that you buy a 120 volt, 15 amp to 20 amp adapter.

At startup, it can spike up to 20A, but it runs at 15A. So I recommend a heavy duty extension cord (12G minimum). But no, it CANNOT be plugged into any normal outlet out of the box without an adaptor. The saw comes with a 240V plug. You must purchase an adaptor (120-to-240V) which can be bought at Home Depot, but beware - get the correct one. There are two versions that are mirror images of each other. Read More

Also, I would recommend getting a short 1-3' cord, then installing the adaptor on it (then this can be plugged into any heavy duty cord), rather than destroy a new 12G extension cord and making it useful only for that saw.
I have used it several times outside and have yet to trip a breaker, so evidently my 20A circuits are adequate for the job. Read Less

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Concrete Saw The saw w/blade included exceeded my expectations for value and performance. A great tool to invest in for a at home DIY person or professional contractor. August 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for brick pavers!!! Purchased this to replace my gas saws that keep getting carb issues. I have been doing hardscapes for 17 years and now have my own company. This saw is lighter so less fatigue when cutting all day. Blade that comes with it is very good. I'm going to order 2 more for the rest of my crew. I recommend this saw. July 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Electric concrete saw The saw came well packaged. Only assembly was attaching the saw blade. Great power with lots of torque. Tripped my 20 amp fuse only a few times with heavy cutting. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Buy. Worked Great, Price is right. This is a Great Buy. I needed to cut three 6 foot long 4" thick slabs of concrete and was going to rent a concrete saw until I reviewed this concrete saw on the Home Depot website, saw the great reviews and the inexpensive price. It also comes with a blade which made it even a better deal. It is a 20 amp tool so you need to make sure you have a 20 amp outlet. I am not sure if you can use a 15 amp outlet for it. I am still amazed how inexpensive it is compared to all the other concrete saws. Never cut concrete before and I am very happy with the saw. Worked great. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product Usually I've been renting saws but had decided the cost was too much so I decided to take a chance on the Evolution simple because of the cost. I've been using the saw to cut brick and flagstone and I'm very impressed with it's power it cuts much easier than anticipated. The only complaint was they need to include a 20/15amp adapter with the product. Home Depot nor Lowe's seemed to know what I was asking for. I finally had to call Evolution and the representative was very helpful. Great service!!! He even sent me an email with the types of adapters and where I could order them from. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 12 inch Electric Concrete Saw This saw is a very good saw for light jobs where a bigger gas saw would be too much trouble. It's easy to use and the "diamond" blade cut very well. For under $250 it's a great tool to have in ones arsenal of tools. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked like a champ This saw worked great. Bought for patio/fire pit project. Cut 1 1/2" to 3" Idaho Silver flagstone, made 230ish cuts (1 to 4 min per cut) went through 2 blades and worked like a champ. I did turn it into a wet cut saw because it produced way to much dust. Best investment I made for this project. July 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great tool This saw cut into concrete slabs that were over 8 inches thick which enabled me to brake them up easily with a sledge hammer. The hammer alone was not cutting it but after cuttng with the saw the job was easier and neater. July 26, 2016
