Rated 5 out of 5Â by Gerb eWAVE: Awesome Convection Cooker at Super Price
This cooker is quick and efficient...a lot better than anything in the oven and as good as cooking on the grill except ALOT faster...check out my Tri Tip pictures. I have cooked chicken wings and Korean BBQ ribs as well...all the fat drips to the bottom but the meat is always juicy...unbelievable product esp for the price...only $38 (I got on sale for $28)...believe the nuWAVE on TV is 3 to 4 times more but don't know how it could be any better.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Texaspepper OK. .I bought one and now I am sold
I work at The Home Depot #6534 in Appliances and we had a display of the Ewave for $28. After reading and looking at comparable units I bought one yesterday and cooked chicken breasts, potatoes, carrots with a bit sauce on all. The manual is not real detailed about how to cook this item nor is it clear just how long to cook. I took a guess and set the timer for 25 minutes at a temp of 400 degrees. Using a meat thermometer showing it was 120 degrees. Reset the timer for 10 minutes and it was done. Veggies were not soft enough. Chicken was browned and tender. Going to experiment more with other dishes. Over all satisfied with the cooking. No hot kitchen.
Pros: Price, quality, energy saving, quickness of cooking, easy to operate, ring to increase to 4+ gallons.
Cons: Bowl is VERY heavy, manual is lacking details on cooking, no recipes,

So glad I bought this. I may have to go back for another! Works well, super fast, food is tasty and I can cook and multi task in the kitchen without a worry because of the timer. LOVE it! So convenient.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Veden5683 I love my ewave!
I got rid of my microwave years ago, but recently considered getting another one because I started working and my daughter, even though she was use to heating everything on or in the stove, I felt because of her handicap that it would be easier for her to use a microwave. So I agonized for months about it, for many reasons, one being it does not brown the food, until the other day at work, I saw this the ewave....a convection oven for $28. I bought it and the very first night cooked chicken breasts in Italian dressing in 20 minutes and browned. The next night I heated up food in it....stone cold to hot within minutes! I am so happy I found this item! Even my daughter can use it.
On the cons page, I had to put something.....so I put size....but it is no bigger than a microwave.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Pete A trully amazing value in a portable convection oven!
Purchased this oven at HD for $33. Took it home and followed the directions for cleaning the unit before first use. Ran the unit at 400 for 10 minutes to burn off remaining dust/oil (it smelled as it burned off). Proceeded to cook some baked potatoes and then some marinated chicken ... both of which came out very well. During the cooking process I watched the unit and was pleasantly surprised to find that the unit was actively trying to maintain the desired cooking temp (400) by turning the heating coil in the hood on and then off every few seconds. The internal fan continues to circulate air within the oven regardless of whether the heating element is on or off.
The unit has two control knobs ... one controls the timer and one the temp, making it VERY easy to use. All you have to do is set the time and temp ... put the handle down (will not operate with the handle up) and relax. I tested the temp control by moving it from 400 to 425 and the unit responded immediately by turning on the heating coil to attempt to raise the internal temp by 25 degrees.
The quality of the oven and it's parts is very good considering the price paid. The glass bowl is especially thick and heavy. Be gentle with the handle on the top for a long unit life. The unit even comes with a stainless steel expansion ring that increases the amount of food the unit can cook.
It is very difficult for me to rate anything over 4 stars as the product really has to excel. This unit excels for what it was designed to do at an outrageously low price. My old convection oven died just recently and was budgeting at least $100 for a QUALITY replacement. Who would have thought that I would stumble across the solution while shopping in HD ... and for only $33?!?!
