Titan Tile Black 18 in. x 18 in. Rubber Tile Flooring (6-Pack) is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 21.

I was waiting for a nasty day as I was trying to get the fall yard work done also. I found them easy to install and I had to do some trimming to get them to fit correctly around door molding etc. and I was concerned about that before I started, but I found that with a sharp utility knife they were reasonably easy to cut. I was able to fit them around the molding and door thresh hole with few problems. It took a little practice to get the tiles locked together, but I didn't need a rubber mallet as was suggested as a needed tool. I have had them down for mare than a week and have had no slippage. I put them on a landing at the top of some steps from my garage to my house.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rubber flooring a little thin .... Even though this flooring tile is a little thin, it serves the purpose. I have it in my shop to reduce leg fatigue and it would help if it was thicker. The thickness would be perfect for garage flooring, but for the shop ... thicker would be better. It is made from recycled rubber and easy to install. There a six pieces in a box and the box has 6 edges ... Overall, I'll use it because I have it, but will purchase thicker tiles for standing areas in the shop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Tiles RE: Fanmats Titan Tiles Black 18 in. x 18 in. Rubber Tile Flooring (6-Pack) I ordered these to install in the office gym area. As others have stated, interlocking the tabs took a few moments to fit perfectly, but held together well and are seamless. I have mine in a 2 tile by 3 tile pattern. I like that these are made from 99% recycled materials too. They can be trimmed easily with a utility knife if needed. I left mine with tabs intact.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smelly and a pain to assemble, but they work GREAT! These tiles have a great non-slip coating (almost like asphalt) on the top which is great for standing on, but not so great for doing pushups on, etc.. They don't slide around on the floor which is a huge plus. Actual size when assembled (2 across by 3 up) is 3' x 4.5' I suggest installing these in a very well ventilated area! The rubber smell is awful in the room where these were installed in my house. It took me way longer than expected to assemble these 6 tiles. The sections need to be worked carefully by hand because the material is very flexible. You can't just pop them down with a few pushes like thicker foam types. I also kept getting high spots where the tiles would stick up at the connections. This was finally resolved by squaring up the entire mat but sometimes an edge will pop up here and there. I ended up using them as a floor mat in front of a dart board (over vinyl plank flooring -which actually stops darts from scarring the floor) and is really comfortable to stand on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for Reducing Standing Fatigue Right out of the box these tiles reek of rubber – recycled rubber in fact – that is great but they will need some time to get rid of the odor. The rubber is very dense and heavy yet only about ¼” thick. I am using these tiles in a non-standard pattern just one tile wide and that means I do not have enough edge pieces to finish the mat. I will see if I can obtain additional edge pieces and, if not, I will cut off the whole of the back interlocking edge. Interlocking the tiles is not difficult but it is a bit fiddly and tiring on the fingers. The rubber is so dense that a bit of force is required to get the pieces locked together and each of the connections laying flat. There are a couple of areas that are popping up but I hope that time will cause the pieces to settle down. The instructions say to tap any proud pieces with a mallet to flatten but I didn’t find that made much difference most of the time. I am using this mat to reduce fatigue on the body that is caused by standing still on a hard, flat surface for a long time … and it definitely works! I was stood at my workstation for a long time and did not feel stiff or uncomfortable when I finished what I was doing and moved away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Titan Tiles are tough I have several anti-fatigue mats in various work areas of my home, but none of them provide comfort over an extended area. So I decided to try out the Titan 18" square rubber interlocking tiles along the length of my garage workbench. Once unpacked, the rubber tiles and edge & corner pieces need to set for a day, to air out the smell of the rubber. But that quickly dissipates, and your install is as easy as making sure your floor surface is clean and dry. The tiles interlocking "jig saw" edges fit together nicely, though using a rubber mallet to secure the edges are locked level is highly recommended. The edging and corners attach just as quickly, and you have a slip-resistant flooring that provides you constant comfort while standing. The bottom of each component has a shiny, strong-grip surface that keeps the rubber from moving anywhere. And the recycled rubber top surface is extremely tough and resists any gouging or scuffing from dropped tools, sports equipment, etc. It's even mold resistent, which would make it ideal for basement applications. The approx. 9-foot runner I made out of my Titan components has already provided me hours of comfort and support, while working on projects at my workbench. And given the toughness of the tiles, it will likely provide ample support for years to come.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Quality for Years of Use! After having this floor in our basement workout room for over 2 years now and 6 days a week workouts on them, they are holding up beautifully. We made a 6 tile by 5 tile workout space and it is perfect for 2 people. While it was a bit difficult to assemble, once we started working out on it and the flooring began to settle, it has been perfect. I would suggest getting the edges, as we didn't, and some of the "puzzle piece" sides that were exposed have torn off.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Misrepresentation of the product. While these tiles do the job I rated the product low for 2 reasons. 1. it is listed as an 8 pack when in actuality it is a 6 pack with border strips (which still does not equal 8 so I'm not sure where that number comes from). 2. They are described as 18X18 tiles, however due to the puzzle piece form, when they are put together you lose about a 1/2 inch on each side so when figuring out how many you will need take this into account. With these two factors, this product was not the great deal I originally thought it was.
