Will this work for dogs?

I have two pit bulls that don't dig at all. I just want to let them outside without being on a chain. I would like to think that if it'll contain a horse, it will also handle my dogs.
Asked by: JTribiani
In the reviews, customer Megs09 reported that the fence was used for dogs (including smaller dogs)

How many posts per roll would be required?

Asked by: Tami
Typical fence install requires 1 post every 4 feet. For a 100 foot roll, you would need approximately 25 posts.

Like chain link?

What I mean is will this fence follow uneven ground like chain link will? I know welded fence wont and if not installed straight you have places that are loose. Any help would be great.
Asked by: Tony
No, it does not flex like chain link fence. It will adjust to very minor and gradual changes in grade, but you have to level bumps, tree roots, rocks, etc. to make the fence any where near taught. It probably would be best if you have a fence puller to tighten each section before anchoring it to the post. I did not, and my fence is a little bit loose. I used metal t-posts on 8 foot centers over an 80-foot run.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for what I need. We fenced in about 3/4 of an acre with this. Mainly for dogs and occasional horse. I love that when my horses are in it I don't have to worry about their legs getting stuck in the holes. We had this problem with out other fencing! With the dogs the smaller squares are great because I don't have to worry about the smaller one getting out. Also living out in the woods its a good deterrent for wildlife. It has been installed for over two years and we have had no issues. Still looks great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement for welded fencing Each intersection of this heavier wire fence is wrapped individually, so that it will not come apart over time. This excellent fencing replaces one that was just welded, and after time the old fence had lots of "unwelded", loose wires. I expect this new one to last! It was easy to handle and cut, and fairly easy to install. I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy! It's installed on split rail to keep my dogs in. I'm only disappointed in the direction my contractor placed it. Though no issues yet, I wanted the "ties" at each little corner to face out, so that if my dogs ever decide to stand/lean/jump up against the fencing, their paws will not get cut. Be careful with this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong Fence! We recently bought this fencing to build a pasture for a couple of horses. The fencing was a good price, and it's a very sturdy product. We are very pleased with our purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed This wire fencing was just what I needed to fence off the back of my property line. I especially like the extra-thick top and bottom wires for strength and durability. Free delivery to my home was a big plus, but I wasn't expecting it to be strapped to a wooden pallet, which I had to dispose of.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Steel Fence Comments The intersections where the vertical and horizontal wire join and NOT WELDED. This causes problems during installation by allowing the join to slitty pulling each 2x4 opening to skew. For a fence of this gage thickness, the joints should have been better fastened. Also, the fencing is strong but the manufacturer should have cleaned the product prior to its sale. The steel surface is covered in a greasy, black film which gets onto everything during installation.
