Answer:
Typical fence install requires 1 post every 4 feet. For a 100 foot roll, you would need approximately 25 posts.

What I mean is will this fence follow uneven ground like chain link will? I know welded fence wont and if not installed straight you have places that are loose. Any help would be great.

No, it does not flex like chain link fence. It will adjust to very minor and gradual changes in grade, but you have to level bumps, tree roots, rocks, etc. to make the fence any where near taught. Answer:
There is some flexibility in the Horse Fence and so it will conform to some changes in grade. The fence will also give if a horse pushes against the fence to prevent injury to the animal.

I have two pit bulls that don't dig at all. I just want to let them outside without being on a chain. I would like to think that if it'll contain a horse, it will also handle my dogs.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Steel Fence Comments The intersections where the vertical and horizontal wire join and NOT WELDED. This causes problems during installation by allowing the join to slitty pulling each 2x4 opening to skew. For a fence of this gage thickness, the joints should have been better fastened. Also, the fencing is strong but the manufacturer should have cleaned the product prior to its sale. The steel surface is covered in a greasy, black film which gets onto everything during installation. July 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Farmyard fence We had purchased 5 100 foot rolls. They were home delivered in good condition and on time. The only issue I have with H.D. is their return policy. I almost had to surrender my unborn child to return / exchange a 10 dollar item ! No more H.D. shopping for me !! July 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by horse fence Good quality at an excellent price I wish they had anouther one thousand feet in stock so I could complete the job April 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Fence for Livestock This fence works great for preventing livestock damage. I used this initially to replace a small section of damaged fence, now I'm re-fencing my entire pasture with this fence. Works great and more than meets my needs. April 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I needed This wire fencing was just what I needed to fence off the back of my property line. I especially like the extra-thick top and bottom wires for strength and durability. Free delivery to my home was a big plus, but I wasn't expecting it to be strapped to a wooden pallet, which I had to dispose of. September 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy! It's installed on split rail to keep my dogs in. I'm only disappointed in the direction my contractor placed it. Though no issues yet, I wanted the "ties" at each little corner to face out, so that if my dogs ever decide to stand/lean/jump up against the fencing, their paws will not get cut. Be careful with this. September 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great replacement for welded fencing Each intersection of this heavier wire fence is wrapped individually, so that it will not come apart over time. This excellent fencing replaces one that was just welded, and after time the old fence had lots of "unwelded", loose wires. I expect this new one to last! It was easy to handle and cut, and fairly easy to install. I highly recommend it. May 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for what I need. We fenced in about 3/4 of an acre with this. Mainly for dogs and occasional horse. I love that when my horses are in it I don't have to worry about their legs getting stuck in the holes. We had this problem with out other fencing! With the dogs the smaller squares are great because I don't have to worry about the smaller one getting out. Also living out in the woods its a good deterrent for wildlife. It has been installed for over two years and we have had no issues. Still looks great! May 9, 2011
