Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sheet roof metal The product is worth the money . The customer service @ the Schenectady store is worthless. Under staffed and changing faces often , so either it's the store manager or the company that makes it a bad place to work. July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fabral Metal Roof Sheet for use as a ceiling under a deck. This product can be order in the exact lengths you need, so no joints. I installed this under my deck to make the space underneath usable in inclement weather. Firstly, I checked the slope on my deck and over the 15" it dropped about 1.5". so I didn't do much else to alter that. I used treated 2x4s to make purlins across the joists. These were screwed to the joists using 3.5" deck screws. I placed them about 3' apart. Then I made a simple tool out of some aluminum stock to clamp on the end of the sheet and bend the sections up. This stopped the water flowing over the back end of the sheet. I fixed the first sheet on using Teks #9 x 1-1/2 in. Zinc Plated Steel Hex Washer Head Roofing Screws, screwing into the upstanding ridges. (No holes in the trough!) Ensuring the angle on the end was difficult. After trial fitting the first panel, I set it next to the second one to give me the start point of making the angled cut. I used tin snips to do this. When a post was in the way, I carefully measured and cut out the shape. Later, using silicone caulk, i bent little up-stand and glued in pieces on the corner to divert the water. I've almost finished the project, and have a few finishing touches to do, but this should be an easy job as long as you don't have that angled cut to make. August 10, 2012
