This heater does not come with a built in thermostat. It is sold as an accessory. The thermostat can be installed on either end. Or you can wire the heater to a remote mounted wall thermostat.

Customer Reviews

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Replacement for a baseboard heater that the original company has apparently gone out of business This is a second order. It has not been in use very long but I was able to install with the previous wiring. It has all of the features I was originally looking for. I had to purchase one that was slightly longer (4 in) than the original to obtain 500 watts. I was glad to see this product was available and in the color I needed. I had to return the first order due to the watts. The return with Home Depot has been a bit of a nightmare, as they seem to be unable to find the information of my return. I did follow the instructions I was sent from Home Depot for the return, but there is an issue as this is through an outside vendor. The confusion has denied and delayed my refund and I have had to make numerous calls. I don't feel that this is an issue I should have to deal with. December 21, 2015
