Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great product just what I've been looking for this ladder was easy to use and very sturdy to support us big and tall people. It allowed me easy access to my attic. June 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great durable attic ladder for the price I had this ladder installed last week and so far I have used it several times and it is amazing how sturdy and strong it is. Even though it is metal it's very light weight. The metal rod makes it so easy to open and close the attic ladder door. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good quality attic ladder that is durable and doesn't cost lots of money!! May 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Smallest opening required I hired someone to install the attic ladder for me. Although they had never recommended or installed this specific ladder, they were impressed. Equivalent or better than others they had installed. The size of opening required was the key selling feature for me. May 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Ladder Well built ladder that is very solid. Door is thick and is not flimsy at all. The metal ladder is not going to break under heavy load. The opening is large and will allow items to fit that won't fit with smaller ladders. I deducted a star for quality because mine had a crack along the one end that I had to repair myself, but it wasn't that big of a deal. a few things to note when cutting the legs to the proper height. first make sure the ladder is fully pulled as far away from the door as possible (the bolts are loose by default). this creates slightly more room for your feet. then, move the up/down adjuster so the ladder is as far up as possible. this will allow flexibility later in case you have to elongate the ladder later on. you can always cut off more, but you can't add on. also take note how the plastic feet are made. unlike wood ladders, you cut this one straight across because the feet are angled to compensate for that. just make sure to measure everything correctly (measure 2, 3, 4, etc times before cutting). Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A very solid attic ladder We are very impressed with this ladder; it's extremely solid and unfolds/folds up very nicely. It was also one of the few ladders that fit into our space, that held up to 350 lbs. I figured that my 200 lb husband wouldn't be safe on a 250 lbs ladder if he was carrying anything heavy. And it was very cost-competitive with other lesser-quality ladders. January 3, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rock solid This attic ladder is rock solid. No way will you have to worry about it failing if you install if properly and weight less than a ton. Ok less than a ton. I installed it by myself but probably not a good idea if you are not willing to take some significant risks. I like the fact that you can adjust the steps to allow room for a big foot. My only concern is that they are a bit steep. Certainly steeper than the steps I removed. December 10, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Best I could Find. I did extensive research on attic ladders before I bought this model. It is well made, installed easily, and looks good. I bought one for the garage and another for the interior hallway. Way better than the Century or Werner. May 16, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by metal attic ladder This ladder was easy to install very sturdy. I'm glad after looking at all brands and model that I selected this one. November 11, 2014
