Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by OCDCoffeeDrinker Great Product at a great price
Makes the absolute best coffee with an amazing difference in flavor vs. conventional drip machines. Am very happy with the size and look of the percolator. Wish the spring that hold the ground coffee was attached and not able to be lost so easily. I also do not like that the knob on top is made of plastic (should have been made of glass for durability) also I have problems trying to get all of the water to drain out of percolator due to inside lip. I would recommend this percolator for any coffee lover....the flavor is worth any small ocd grievance I might have.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 8266 Really Good Purchase
I purchased two, one as a Christmas gift for my daughter and one for myself. I wanted to introduce her to the coffee pot that makes good, stronger, hot coffee, versus the plastic drip coffee pots we both possess. Shiny and new, this coffee pot is easy to use and easier to clean than the plastic drip pot, and makes a good tasting brewed coffee.

I usually drink coffee from my Keurig but sometimes I feel it isn't hot enough. I bought this after I saw it at my aunts place, the coffee comes out hot and it tastes great! The price is great too!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Housefrau LOVE IT.
I hate having small electric appliances to store because my house is small with little storage space. But my little house is very slick, new and stylish and I want for all my kitchen stuff to show and shine, too. This sits on top of the stove when not in use and gleams like a fancy gem.
Quality is excellent both in terms of the pot and the coffee it makes, but only if you know how to percolate coffee. Since the brew is re-circulated through the grounds, the taste is so very much smoother than what auto-drip coffee makers can create.
Use percolator-grind coffee. It is not ground as fine as auto drip. If you are using fine ground coffee, it is easy to quickly fashion a paper filter that will fit in the coffee basket of the percolator. I like five or six coffee scoops per full pot of water (up to the spout line). Once you've got coffee grinds in the basket, set it aside.
Bring the appropriate amount of water to boil in the pot (with the lid on lightly). When you see it begin to percolate, pull the pot off the burner, lift the lid, put the coffee basket in it and secure the pot lid tightly over it. Once you see it start to percolate again on high, reduce the temperature to low (say, 3 out of 10 on your oven control). Time it from there... 6 minutes.
Once time is up, take the pot off the burner, let the coffee complete its drain through the coffee basket.
And then start smiling because you're about to pour a really darn good cup of Joe to enjoy.
