Because the panel is flat and thin we do not recommend the glue up application for ceiling or wall for a couple of reasons. Due to the thinness of the panels the adhesive will show through. Also, as the adhesive cures, the panels separate a small amount, and a large seam will be created. We do have a hammered style which is very plain and does not have a particular pattern on it, that may interest you. Please feel free to call our customer care team at 800-434-3750. Hello! Thank you for your question! Our Tiles are not designed and have not been tested for outdoor use. Customers have used them outside with success but we do not recommend that use and the manufactures warranty would not apply to damage/defects caused by weather. The foil covered grid and panels may not sustain their color in the sunlight and because they are made of plastic, they could crack in certain weather conditions. The panels may expand and contract in extreme hot and cold temperature swings so the foil can deform. The adhesive may also be an issue as it freezes & thaws or reaches higher temperatures than 100 degrees. Please feel free to reach out to customer care 800.434.3750 if you have any further questions.
