Hello Jack! Thank you for your question! If you choose to use the 2x4 ceiling panel as a backsplash panel it is important to understand the overlap feature of each panel. The Traditional 1 ceiling panel has a ridge and dot pattern around the perimeter of the panel for overlapping.
Install your panels by starting from the left side at the bottom and work either upwards or to the right by overlapping each new panel over the previous panel. An exception to this rule would be designing a layout of panels to be centered at a focal point, such as behind a sink or stove area, then build out from both sides of the focal point. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful! looks so real. used these panels to accent a faux fireplace. very beautiful. looks like real metal. very lightweight and was easy to trim. used two sided tape to adhere to the backboard. was a little pricey but the end result was worth it! December 1, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ceiling Tiles These tiles were very easy to install using PL400 and were also very easy to cut. I would use the largest ones possible as they have less seams. I used them without any edging or center strips as they look great without the extras. December 12, 2010
