  • Oversized top thread traps most loose composite material during installation
  • Concave underside of head conceals material for clean appearance
  • Stainless steel provides guaranteed corrosion resistance. ACQ approved
  • Bottom thread and point are designed for maximum pull-down power
  • Deep #2 square drive provides the best bit engagement, reducing cam-out

Customer Reviews

TrapEase 2-1/2 in. Composite Screw Stainless Steel - 1750 Pack-DISCONTINUED is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I needed the stainless steel screws for new deck I special ordered these to use with my new trex deck installed over pressure treated understructure.. A friend had used regular composite deck screws in trex a few years ago and they rusted out where they met the pressure treated. What a mess! I ordered these to avoid the rusting and breaking problem. Costs double what the other screws do, but worth it. No mushrooming, and will last a very long time. Careful of the square heads when installing, if you strip one right where it meets the board and can't grab it with vice grips you have a problem. Make sure you use two hands on the drilldriver and press down firmly all the way in. Finished installation looks great.
