Can I purchase this door in 32 x 80 inch?

Asked by: Donna
Yes, We do have a 32" option (33.5" x 81.625"). It would be available as a special order at a Home Depot store.

Did anyone have this door warp who used a vented screen door? Our door is covered by porch and doesn't get sun exposure all day hoping it will be ok.
Asked by: doorquest
Thank you for replying Feather River. The reviews/complaints on your door say otherwise, which is why I ask. I plan to install a storm door that has a screen to vent air as well. Concerned that so many say door warps and finish peels and Feather River does not stand by their warranty.

I have concerns about the warping. Was this just a bad batch?

I'm worried because I have a west facing location and a clear glass storm door protecting it. My entry is covered.

Beautiful door. Not worth the chance. We bought this door - it warped and so did the following two replacement doors. Not just a bad batch. Cheaply made.

I installed this door through Home Depot 2 years ago. The silicone constantly oozes out of the glass. The grill that divides the glass has split in half vertically. The plastic lite insert is warped. I am very unhappy with this door.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beyond Disappointed I've been dreaming of this door for weeks. After all my begging and pleading my husband relented and let me order this door with optional sidelights. I realize this is not the most expensive door on the market, however $2,600 for a school teacher and painter is big budget and let me tell you the door isn't worth half that price. When we went to pick it up I was shocked & disappointed at the condition of the door and we had to take it as we have new construction and needed a door. The nails aren't set, the finish is scratched and nicked in multiple places, there is a scratch near the window where it's evident the factory attempted to cover with touch up paint, there is silicone all over the windows & creases of the door and we're missing screws & plugs for the screw holes. I actually cried when it was installed due to the horrible appearance. If you're looking for a well built and aesthetically pleasing door- keep looking! Caveat emptor!

Within a few months we have to make a claim on the warranty for one of them. The trim around the glass has warped and even caused the door to crack. Time to file a warranty claim. Hopefully they will stand behind it.

I went with home depot install because the salesperson bragged about Val their installer. Had ordered a total of 4 exterior doors. Well instead of the Val we got 2 of his "installers" . I now have 2 doors that don't stay open so I can bend over a thousand times spring thru summer putting an object in front of the door to hold it open. Install with materials were as much as the doors and I did have cheaper quotes. Val came but wasn't able to fix the problem at this point. My neighbor actually put his own doors in and was able to get his level so learn by my mistake and get a professional to do the install. Didn't think I had to include wording in the contract about leveling for proper function. this was from the Waukesha Wisconsin store. Perhaps others are better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from should have been on the damaged clearanced section The door itself is very nice looking, however, after i got it in, i noticed that it didnt come with screw covers for the sill plate, was missing screws in the hinges, and there was a screw coming through the side of the door jam from the manufaturing, i expected higher quality for $500

I purchased 2 of these doors to replace a front door without windows and the back door, which had to be the original door on the house (built in 1930). My installer, Chris, was superb, very professional and willing to explain what he was doing and why. Because the house is 86 years old, this was not an easy install. But, Chris worked thru all the quirks of my house and did a great job. The only problem I have with them is that Home Depot only carries 36" doors in-store now, so I had to special order both my doors (they are 32"), so it cost me an additional $175 each. One of the features I really liked was the craftsman style decorative shelve on the outside of the doors. When mine were delivered, I assumed I was looking at the inside as there was no shelve, while Chris was inspecting them for any flaws. I finally noticed a few days later that the shelves were missing. I talked to my salesman at Home Depot because I thought they had sent the wrong doors. He told me that the shelf is optional on custom orders (which no one told me at the time I bought the doors). He said he would see what could be done. I have heard nothing after almost a week. So, TAKE HEED, IF YOU REALLY LIKE THE SHELF AND HAVE TO SPECIAL ORDER, MAKE SURE THEY INCLUDE THE SHELF IN THE ORDER. My guess is that it costs extra.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy this door We bought this door in July of 2015. I want to say first of all the installers were great. The first door, which is the one I still have, had an inperfection on the front side and several chips in it. I didn't know fiberglass could chip. Over the next month we had 7 doors brought out as replacements, each worse than the original one. I ended up keeping the original and not fighting with Home Depot anymore because my husband passed away in Sept and I didn't have the strength to fight them anymore, it seemed unimportant anymore. Just recently I went wash the top windows and 3 of them cracked with the slight pressure of washing them. This is a very poor quality door, don't waste your money or your time. I am going to order a quality door from a company who stands behind their product and will not be shopping at Home Depot again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Waste Your Money Do NOT purchase this door! It warped within an hour of being installed. It only lasted ONE HOUR in the sun....in Western NY....in February in otherwords 40 degree day. They claimed it was just a defect and sent not one but TWO replacement doors that all warped! Then they claimed that it was because we chose the dark finish in a southern exposure. NO ONE mentioned that when we were buying it. The package states " dent, rust, rot or crack" I guess they knew it would warp, bend and melt! I wish I read all the reviews before we bought. And the topper is Home Depot won't let us return the door and Feather River says you have to return it to Home Depot for a refund. Both of them point the finger at the other leaving you with a door you can't use. Buyer Beware.
