Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Craig aesthetically pleasing!
Bought this door in 10/11 to replace our other door (which was warped). Took a chance of trying to install without having to replace the whole jamb. Mission accomplished with minor effort (had to add a small piece of wooden trim and adjust the hinge holes on the jamb). The color of the door matches our hardwood floors perfectly. The door had a few minor scratched in it which could have been due to our transport. But, a stain pen touched up the scratches just fine. We have a covered porch so, I'm hoping we don't have any problems with the coating like others have and I guess only time will tell. Overall, we are very pleased with this product.

Purchased this door in the summer of 2010. After installation noticed that you could see light in all four corners with door closed. Weather seal does not run full length of door on any side.
Also cannot keep door true. I've had to remove the wall around the door 4 times in less than a year to re-shim and adjust so the door locks smoothly.
Difficult to install a wired doorbell button.
All in all a poorly designed product, but I guess you get what you pay for.

We purchased this to replace a 7 year old builder grade steel door. Talk about an upgrade! This door looks great and operates (close, latch, seal) so much better than our previous door.
We had our door installed by HD. The installer was first rate!
It's only been in over the weekend, so I cannot comment on the durability or long term performance, but the appearance is very nice and the window really adds to our home.

We bought this door in early 2007 and over the summer in Delaware when it got hot, the glue around the window portion started to melt into a white sitcky goo and little bugs got stuck in it! Then over the fall the bottom panels discolored and the wood in between the door and side panels begun to split. We are very disapointed after spending so much! Not to mention it is now an eyesore after only a year!!!!

We had Home Depot install this for our front door. We love it. What a dramatic transformation. We had a solid door before with 3 small windows at the top. This is well insulated and lets in so much light yet gives you privacy because of the way the glass is frosted. We had 1 small problem with the seal coming off the bottom and Home Depot came back out and promptly replaced the entire seal.

Do not buy this door!
It melted today in Ohio. It was behind the glass door and it got so hot it melted the glue and the window is falling down. The silicone(?) sealant around the window is dripping down the door.
It was only 80 out. DO NOT BUY! Apparently this is not covered by the warranty. Ugh!

clearcoat began to peel after 1 1/2 yr. Warranty did not cover this. If you buy this door you must maintain it with 3-4 coats of exterior eurathan every year according to the website of the manufacturer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ThatOldHouse This door stands toe to toe with the expensive ones ...
I was amazed by the overall quality and the natural look of the wood grain.
I was expecting something a lot less aesthetic and I am pleasantly surprised at the details of this door. Who said that fiberglass doors had to look dull. A neighbor just spent $2,100.00 on a similar door and told me that my door looks much better than his.
I upgraded the door jamb as I thought that it was a bit weak for my taste and sense of security. ($16. worth of materials)
Not only this door does look great but it is also Energy Star certified.
