Writing about a truly terrible experience with a past purchase, Order ID #: 1092277441. I ordered a door with Home Depot on 3/25/16 and ultimately received it in mid-June. This passed the 2 week deadline for that order survey opportunity, so I am leaving it here. I have been a very loyal customer of Home Depot for years, especially purchasing over $5000 worth of items for a current home renovation. I decided to go with my favorite home improvement store for a new front door. To my dismay, when I arrived home with the door, I found multiple scrapes and dents in the door! I did not expect to pay over $1,800 for a damaged product. Plus, there is no opportunity to move the 200+lb door to be fixed! What am I to do? I cannot believe that Home Depot was so careless with this project, leaving me incredibly unsatisfied with my purchase. I certainly will not be returning anytime soon for any more renovation needs.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by MarineCentral Door not designed for long door handle
I purchased this October 2014. Now July 2015, about 8 months old. I notice the lower end nut (that hold the lower end of long door handle from the outside, developed some indent. Closely inspect, I saw the fiberglass from the interior dented in and crack. Brought the issue to Home Depot, they talk to manufacturer, then gave me a claim number and asked me to send them picture. The next day, warranty people from manufacturer called me back and said the 1/8 in thick fiberglass do not designed to hold long door handle. I used my knuckle and knock around that felt like nothing was behind that thin fiberglass, very hollow sound. Manufacturer told me that is not under warranty (25 years warranty on their paper). IMHO, if I pulled close the door to close a bit stronger, my door handle would come off, since there is not much more than a front and back two sheet of 1/8 in thick to hold it. Now the issue is back to Home Depot and I am waiting from them. Will update soon.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BigGixx Beautiful Door
Purchased this product in Feb. and decided to finally install it this past weekend, with the help from a 5 and 6 year old. An ease to install, and this door look beyond beautiful, and the kids love it. I would recommend this door to anyone. I dont have to deal with the sun hitting the door so I don't have to deal with the noise the other review stated. My house faces the North and has an over hang over the door.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by shall This door is absolutely beautiful. The picture does not do it justice. It was easy to install and only took a few hours.
The door has a tight seal and closes quietly. It brings in light to my dark hallway, but I have not noticed any heat from the door. It was easy to install and only took a few hours. The door arrived well packaged and in very good condition.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer PRETTY PICTURES DO NOT TELL THE TRUE STORY
The glass oval has pulled away from the door, and it (the door) is broken. An expensive door, as this, should last. And, not to mention, but I will, it costs a lot to have a door framed and installed.

Home Depot sold us this door, the installation, and a storm door "to protect your new door". Nobody mentioned that the manufacturer does NOT RECOMMEND a storm door be installed, nor did they mention that THE DOOR SHOULD NOT BE INSTALLED WITH A SOUTH OR WEST EXPOSURE!
After two years of making certain that the storm door glass was lowered during the day, the window failed. It is held in with ADHESIVE, not any mechanical support system! The door gets hot from the sun, the adhesive softens, the glass slides downward until it actually breaks the plastic trim ring. It was replaced under warranty, but we were told it would not be replaced again. It broke again a few days ago.
As an added disappointment, five years of exposure has rendered the finish to a very cheap-looking plastic sheen.
DO NOT BUY THIS DOOR if it will face south or west and do not install a storm door over it.
Summary: it was not cheap to buy, but it certainly IS cheaply made. Find something else.

I bought an Impact Rated door like this one, however it was white with silver trim from the same manufacturer.
The packaging was impressive and allowed a one-man install. Once unpacked, I was disappointed with the finish around the glass. There was excess caulk that I had to clean afterwards.
The associate told me that this was normal and that this insured that there was a tight seal. However on closer inspection after purchase, there was excess caulk everywhere.
Overall the wife loves the light and rainbow effects in the afternoon and we now have a great door which looks great and seals tight.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Maggie691 I wish I could write about the Feather River door we ordered.
The Feather River door we ordered arrived damaged so it couldn't be installed. So we reordered it and the 2nd one arrived damaged as well. Ever the optimists, we ordered a third time, and guess what? Yes, it arrived damaged again. So we gave up. The whole process was extremely disappointing. It's not clear if it was shipped damaged, was damaged en route, or if it was damaged after arriving at Home Depot. Whatever the case, it was a bad experience.
