Product Overview

Simulate the brightness and vividness of natural daylight with these energy-efficient spiral CFL light bulbs (12-pack) from Feit Electric. Each lamp puts out 2800 Lumens of light using just 40-Watt of power, consuming substantially less electricity than a 150-Watt incandescent equivalent. That translates to a savings of $96 in energy costs per bulb over its 8000-hour existence. The 6500K color temperature is stark and bright, suitable for any indoor or enclosed outdoor fixture that accepts a standard-sized E26 medium-bulb base such as these.

  • Brightness: 2800 Lumens
  • Estimated yearly energy cost: $4.82 (based on 3 hours/day, 11¢/kWh. cost depends on rates and use)
  • Life: 7 years (based on 3 hours/day)
  • Light appearance: 6500K (bright white)
  • Energy used: 40-Watt (equivalent to a 150-Watt standard incandescent light bulb)
  • Lumens per watt: 70
  • Uses 73% less energy and lasts up to 8 times longer compared to a standard incandescent light bulb
  • FCC and RoHS compliant
  • Dimmable: no

Answer:
Home Depot or the vendor has supplied the wrong image on this product page. They have the correct image on the product page that allows you to buy a single bulb (see below) rather than this 12-pack. This is indeed a 150W equivalent, which can also be confirmed at feit.com.
