Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent bulb The color produced is vivid and the bulb does not run hot what so ever. No bugs have been around as of yet but the yellow is bug retardant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These bulbs have far exceeded my expetations. I purchased these bulbs to replace the short life span incandescent bulbs which seemed to burn out after a couple of weeks. I can not say how long these new bulbs will last, becauset the two I installed last spring are still working better than I had hoped. After reading some reviews I feel compelled to clear up some myths that some individuals seem to believe. Bug lights do not kill bugs, nor do bug lights repel bugs. Bug lights simply attract fewer bugs since bugs cannot see this spectrum of light. So remember to turn off any "white" lights when using these bug bulbs since it is the white light that attracts bugs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No bugs at my door We live in the middle on the city but the way that the home is can bring bugs to the main door. Now that we are using this we don't have bugs at the door. Very happy with that. Carlos

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bug bulb! Works great! Keeps the bugs away. Lasts about 3 years. Wish they made it in a LED bulb though. So far, this is the only yellow bug light that I can find that isn't incandescent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great I have used these bulbs for years for my front and back porch lights, they last a long time and they reduce the amount of bugs around my entry doors

Rated 1 out of 5 by from They Don't Work I wanted an outside porch light that would not attract bugs and this one is not it. The bugs seem to like it better than a plain bulb.
