The product description did not say whether it is dimmable. Will it cause problem if I use these bulbs on a dimmer switch?

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mixed results The box was significantly worn, beaten and bruised. Two bulbs were broken. April 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Ever: Lasted 7 years in I installed 8 of these 7 years ago and they just started burning out. I don't know if the manufacturing quality is still the same but I am buying 2 more boxes of 12 while they are still available and they might outlast me. June 19, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by don't last just bought a house a month ago and contractor who flipped the house to us had put these in. Out of 10 in the living room 2 are already out, i'm not expecting the others to last much longer. LED or even CFL a much better value over time. May 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love the large box, low price Like to have spare's on hand, when you need one!!! April 21, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by junk Bought case of 12. Shook each one when I opened the box. I always do this now for bulbs made in China given poor quality of these. Five of the 12 rattled when shaken - the same sound you hear after a bulb burns out. 2 of the rattlers didn't work right out of the box. I'm sure the others would die soon. Given this, I have no faith in the "good" ones, those that didn't rattle when new. Brought them back. I am really getting sick of bulbs made in China. I have incandescent 65W recessed lighting bulbs in my in the master bathroom of our house when it was built in 1992 and which still work. This junk they sell now is lucky to last 2 years, assuming that it is actually working when you take it out of the box. February 13, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great bulb I would recommend to anyone with recessed lights to buy the maintenance pack instead of buying them individually. They are 130v bulbs so they last longer (when ran on 120v or 115v mains). The only problem I ever had was the last time I bought the pack one of the bulbs was dead on arrival. HD gladly took them back. December 10, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Absurd Failure Rate Purchased this product because I had several flood lights in the house that needed to be replaced. The first bulb popped instantly. The second bulb lasted about three seconds, then I could see the puff of smoke inside of it as it too burned out. Rather than try the rest, boxed them up, took them back, and got a more expensive box of Philips. No defects in that box. September 26, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by don't use if you have a dimmer bought these for our kitchen which has 7 can lights. noticed buzzing getting louder as I replaced more bulbs, narrowed it down to the new bulbs making the noise. can not use them with a dimmer switch. we have a high quality dimmer switch and have never experienced this noise w/ the GE bulbs we normally use. if you don't have a dimmer they might be fine.
