Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great price! Fabulous pricing but terrible packing (not sent by HD, but 3rd party). Some of the bulbs came broken; four 12-pack boxes inside one larger one. The 12-pack boxes were open, lights fallen out in the little bit of packing supplied; bulbs smashed (4 or 5 total). HOWEVER, the price was SO much lower to buy the 48 of them that the broken ones did not matter. Besides, who's going to take them back when you really needed them? Time will tell if they are quality, long-burning bulbs. November 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy Purchase. I ordered on line to avoid having to go to the store. Makes it real easy especially when you live a good distance from the store. I ordered a large enough quantity to eliminate shipping charges and also by doing so it reduced the per unit cost! September 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Bulbs These light bulbs were just what I was looking for and provide adequate light from the ceiling cans in my home. Fortunately, they were well packaged and not damaged in shipment. Before you buy them however, understand that they are 130 Volt (not 120V) bulbs. This means longer bulb life, but somewhat less light output. Knowing this before you buy can avoid some of the unhappiness expressed by others who didn't understand what they were going to get. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It's a light bulb - what else is there to say? Well, actually it was the fact that manufacturing or importing this sort of light bulb was recently made illegal and the ridiculous prices for the "new wave" bulbs what won't even operate with a dimmer that prompted this purchase. We have 25 light fixtures in the house that use this kind of bulb, so buying 48 bulbs will likely take care of me for a lifetime, or at least until the "new wave" bulbs are more common and less expensive. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Broken merchandise When the shipment arrived 2 of the bulbs were broken. An employee at the HIghland store kindly replaced them. September 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty tough to beat this deal If you want to stay on incandescents; this is a great deal. About $1 per bulb to go into can lights. August 12, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product at a great price These bulbs are not the highest quality, but they are good. Sometimes that will have a very faint buzz or hum when used with a dimmer, but not so bad that I can't ignore it, and only some of the bulbs do it. For the price they are great, and they really do last a long time. I'm just replacing some in my house that have been in for 7 years. January 7, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Buzz when using dimmer switch Buzz when using dimmer switch, especially at low light. I change to another completed different type of switch and still buzzing. Then I bought the Philips at homedepot, which is just the cheapest BR30 of Philips and they worked pretty well. I saw this is a better brand and product but it is not. Not recommend it!
