I have a area that is only half sun, will this still grow bright and healthy?

Ideal location is area that receives 8 hours of sunlight however the mix will still perform well in area receiving 4-6 of daily sunlight. Thanks.

Čan this ferry morse shaker bag of flowers be planted in northeast colorado in the fall after the first hard freeze?

Asked by: Farmerboy
Thank you for your question. Yes you can plant even after a couple of hard freezes but if there is any chance of warming up for several weeks you may want to wait even longer so the seed does not germ unit spring. At this point you don't want the seed to germ and then experience a hard freeze without a developing root system. Ensure to follow the planting instructions. By planting your seeds now it will give them a head start when the ground thaws and help eliminate the growth of weeds. Hope this helps and our best to you.

The area I want to use these seeds gets a lot of water . Are these seeds tolerant?

Also they full morning Sun into about 1pm . Will they strive in this condition
Asked by: Lemonsqueezer
Thank you for your questions. This mix will perform well in Sun/Part Shade however it needs a minimum of 4 hours sunlight daily for best results so appears you have that covered. The a lot of water concerns me as you don't want the seeds to soak in standing water as they will more than like rot and if they do germ may develop root rot. We do state the following with hopes this helps you decide what is best. "For best germination, soak planted area thoroughly and maintain consistent moisture 4 to 6 weeks, then gradually reduce watering. Many wildflowers are drought resistant and will survive reduced water. In arid climates or during drought conditions, up to 1/2 inch of supplemental water per week may be required". If your area is not standing in water and during the year has the opportunity to dry, you should be ok. Again hope this helps and our best to you this gardening season.

Hummingbird And Butterfly Shaker Bag is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from I was hoping for a bag of just seed, no... I was hoping for a bag of just seed, no filler but that’s not the case here. I returned it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy, Gorgeous Colors I grew these a couple of years ago in my first small garden. The shaker bag was ridiculously easy to use, although I think I went a bit overboard on releasing the seeds. They were super easy to grow (almost too easy! I had to trim back some of the morning glories to keep them in control!) and all of the colors were vibrant and complimentary. I've since moved and now have about three times the gardening space and can't wait to replant this mix. A neat garden with a few trellis' for the vines would be a great way to get a little taste of gardening without spending two hours a day in the yard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Patience yields great rewards We found that we needed to be patient for this product to produce results. It wasn't until mid-June (in northeast Kansas) that we began to experience growth. Since then, we have been so pleased with our wildflower garden.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I followed the growing instructions to the letter. I planted the mixture over 1 month ago and there is nothing growing. I have been gardening for over 50 years and would like to think I am experienced. This product disappointed me very much and I would not recommend this to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I mixed this bag with ferry-morse's wildflower mix and have seen great results so far. Lots of sprouts, just waiting for some flowers. I planted a little late but hopefully they come soon!
