Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 81 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy base!! Base was very heavy& sturdy. The instructions were over simplified and some of the parts were already together. Only problem I had was umbrella did not fit into stand. I looked at top of base & pulled off top which had a plastic piece that could be pulled off with some tabs. After that was done the umbrella fit perfectly!! September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice This is a heavy, nice looking base with a black pebble finish. Comes with an adapter for different sizes of umbrella shafts. Had it for several weeks now and seems to work just fine. September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy, well made base. This umbrella base holds the umbrella post firmly. September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stand Needed a larger opening for the deck umbrella and this was it. August 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Solid Item. Does its job We bought this for our campground pool for the weight. It is heavy, but still some people manage to move it around. It comes with different sized inserts for different sized umbrellas and it takes a bit to fit it with the right one. Overall it is a good item and does it's job. It looks nice as well. July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So far, so good We bought this to support a large rectangular umbrella in our new dining patio set. We were going to get something cheaper, but wanted to make sure the umbrella was stable. The table is glass-top and our yard can get very windy. So far it's worked as expected. The only downside for us is it prevents the chairs from pushing in all the way when we aren't using them. June 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Shopped for a heavy base that would hold a 9 foot stand alone umbrella and this will do the job, but, I also wanted it to look attractive and complement a 5' diameter black table set and look good under it if we didn't use it by itself. Cons: The threads that are used to secure the tube of the stand to the base were rough and the bolt would not thread easily into it. It would start off smoothly and definitely wasn't cross threading but several turns in it would get stuck and I didn't want to force it. The diameter of the base looks too large for the size of our table. There is a rubber rim around the perimeter of the base to aid in rolling it on it's edge but it is still a beast to roll around. It has a pebble finish that looks OK but did not match the smooth finish of our patio set. Pros: Heavy enough to hold a typical 9 foot round umbrella without other support. Bottom line: returning it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what we needed We were looking for something solid and sturdy for our new umbrella and patio dining set and this seems like it will work well in our yard, which tends to get quite windy. May 31, 2016
