I knew exactly what I wanted and was having trouble finding it anywhere. I found just what I wanted on line. The web site is very user friendly. Within a matter of minutes I had made my purchase. The product was delivered within a week in excellent condition.

Worst company in existence. I would recommend that Home Depot stop selling this brand.

I'm back here March 2015 with an update on 7 1/2 foot FiberBuilt umbrella. In less than 2 yrs, I have to throw away these 2 umbrellas due to the cord that broke inside the pole which lowers and raises the umbrella. At $155.00 plus tax for each, I'm now out over $325.00 for these two umbrellas which I will toss in the trash. DISAPPOINTED that these did not last at least two years. Really a shame as I was impressed with their stability in moderate wind conditions. The Tominator.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Tominator Love many features, but HATE the crank handle
I bought three (3) of the 7-1/2 ft diameter Garden patio umbrellas with the flexible fiberglass ribs. They DO hold up well in the wind. However, understand that I also purchased 110 lb. umbrella stands as well in which to hold them secure. The cranks on the umbrellas are NOT smooth when you wind them down. I'll try some WD-40 and see if that works. All three umbrellas have these same handle (or crank) issues. If winds are really breezy, I always take them down to be on the safe side. I am the top floor and I would hate for the winds to carry away the umbrellas or crash them down on someone below. Also, the mesh vinyl fabric is the only kind of fabric to have on a patio umbrella. This fabric lets in slightly dappled sunlight instead of a opaque shade and that's great for the patio flowers. 7 1/2 diameter is the way to go. Don't go for a 9' umbrella ever! 9' umbrellas are inconvenient, heavy, unwieldy, and not flexible in design. Better to go with two smaller umbrellas than one large umbrella. These were a bit pricy, but if I can solve the handle/crank problem, I will "up" this score next time.

The patio umbrella was easy to put up and sturdy. The mesh covering is kinda flimsy and not of the quality we were expecting for the price. However, these mesh covered pool umbrellas were tough to find!

Everything is great about this umbrella. It says that it will withstand heavy wind and it sure did yesterday. I was amazed. It is everything the ad says it is. I bought mine on line from the pictures so it is not quite the color I expected. This was a much brighter yellow than I thought...more towards orange...but I still like it. It is BRIGHT!

It's now 6/30/2013 and I am writing a follow up to my previous post. As I wrote before, I bought three (3) of these fiber built 7 1/2' patio umbrellas. I returned one due to the crank issues. I tried the W-D 40 on the other two crank handles and it has NOT helped. It is still very, very stiff to LOWER the umbrella and has a persistent "grinding" sound whenever I lower the umbrella that resonates from the crank. I do like the wind resistance factor on the umbrellas but I am concerned that if I don't return these now, the crank problems will get worse. These 7 1/2 ft Fiberbuilt umbrellas are expensive at $155.00 and I was expecting more in quality. Love the mesh fabric on the umbrella which helps to allow some wind to escape and makes the umbrella less able to blow away.
