Customer Reviews

Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by We do not like this base. This base is hollow and must be filled with sand to give it weight. The opening for filling is 1 1/2 inches wide, it took two hours to pour sand into it using a flexible Chinese food container, and that is just stupid. Beyond that, the opening holding the umbrella pole has a tightening screw on only one side, so the umbrella is tilted when the screw is tightened, it needs a screw on both sides. Another issue is that the part the umbrella goes into cannot be secured tight enough that the projection coming up from the base holding the umbrella moves in the wind. So, we wish we had bought a different base. January 6, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by cheaper build than I was hoping for In the photo, the stand appears to have adjustable chrome at top of base to tighten umbrella stand. This holds my umbrella fine, but my stand has unattractive cheap appearing unadjustable white plastic ring. this stand is functional, but I was hoping for a better quality and appearance. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Difficult to put together. Can't tighten the pole holder to the stand enough. The umbrella, even when down, can easily blow out of the holder. May 21, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Very basic base I am actually returning this. It is very cheap and basic looking for the price. It's quite large and I am looking for a more subtle look on my patio September 18, 2012
