Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by mellowman Too small water heater blanket
The product claims to insulate up to a 60 Gallon Hot Water heater tank. I have a 50 Gallon electric Hot Water Heater, and it did not even wrap around the entire tank. There was not enough insulation to cover the top either. It was also advertised as 3 inches of Insulation thickness, that was not true either.
Do not buy this product unless you measure the tank first.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by BaliyoBill Dosn't fit 40 gal "fat boy" electric water heater
This is advertised as a "universal" fully encapsulated fiberglass backed with PVC, 48" x 75". I have a Whirlpool "fatboy" 40 gal electric hot water tank, 22 in in diameter with 69 1/2 in circumference. It did not fit around that. I ended up having to stretch it and use the tape that was supposed to be a continuous vertical strip to seal the two ends in 12 inch strips placed horizontally at about 16 inch intervals to hold it in place and close it as best I could. It was also not "full encapulated but had thin plastic/pvc sheet on one side. Overall, it's Ok as is and not worth taking the time to return but it is far from "as advertised"
Universal????? Ha, Ha. Ha.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by AHR "Up to" 60 Gallons...if you by the correct model number
I couldn't help but notice how almost everyone commented on the fact that there wasn't enough material. Pay attention to the model number - SP57-11C. If you go to the Frost King website, you'll see there's another model SP60 which is 90 inches round vs. 75 inches. That's the model that fits up to 60 gallons.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Jasper Barely Fits around 50 gal water heater
Package says fits up to most 60 gal water heaters. It barely fit around my 50 gal. I have an electronic Whirlpool water heater and it kept messing up due to the cold so that is why I bought this. It does serve the purpose of covering up the digital display and keeping it warm. It actually did not completely fit around my water heater. There is probably a 2-3 inch gap where I had to tape it to the water heater all the way down for it to stay. If I would have stretched it probably would have fit, but if you compress insulation it decreases its R-value which defeats the purpose.
I also must say that the tape that comes with it works extremely well.

Easier to install with a little help from a 2nd person to hold it in place while cutting/taping in place.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Tate Product not as advertised on package labeling
Its just a chunk of fiberglass with a chunk of plastic. The package labeling says it is "fully encapsulated" fiberglass insulation. Not the case. Buy a different product. If you want it "fully encapsulated" like the label says, you will have to cut your own plastic casing for the insulation.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by krkroadwarrior Best way to save electricity for heating hotwater
This product is designed very well to insulate an water heater. I found it easy to install with only a knife.
It wil continue to reduce our electric bill for as long as we have this water heater and I am hoping to transfer it to the next one we need to purchase.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by xrayman Product is ok but could be better.
I installed the insulating blanket around a new 40 gal. electric GE water heater and just had enough to reach around the tank. I had no extra material to finish covering the top of the tank.
For the price of the Kit they should include more material.
Tip: For additional insulating value add an 1" block of high density foam under the tank, if an electric water heater.
