does this thermostat have emergency heating control

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, emergency heating is available for heat pump systems on the 3M10.  Choosing EMER on the mode switch will start and run the auxiliary heat until you turn it off or back to heat mode. You can do this by lifting the EMER latch and moving the mode switch to the EMER position. Return the mode switch to the HEAT position as soon as the heat pump is again available.  Auxiliary heat is more expensive to use.

Customer Reviews

Digital Nonprogrammable Heat/Cool Thermostat-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple, easy to operate thermostat. I really like the thermostat once I got it installed. It was a little difficult in that none of the wiring diagrams in the instructions matched my wires. My brother who is an HVAC guy figured it out though. Blue for Cold and Red for Heat etc... Simple easy to use. No Programming.
