how do you install them?

We ordered these and my husband went to install them, but there are no holes in the back piece that goes against the wall, and no hardware came with it (also no instructions). The old rusted ones that we took off were screwed into the studs so we were assuming that's how these need to go in. Please let me know where I can find instructions or how these are supposed to stay secure.
Thanks

Answer:
The purpose of enclosure only is not to re wrap existing installed element, but to act as a pipe chase on a new installation. An installation for example, that calls for 5' of element on a 10' wall. In this situation the contractor may run 5' of complete baseboard and 5' of enclosure only. The purpose of enclosure only is not to re wrap existing installed element, but to act as a pipe chase on a new installation. An installation for example, that calls for 5' of element on a 10' wall. In this situation the contractor may run 5' of complete baseboard and 5' of enclosure only. This will allow them to hide the pipe in the enclosure and give a look of continuity by having baseboard installed all the way across the 10' wall. Even though enclosure only is not intended to re wrap existing element this off label use is done all the time; with varying degrees of success. Because baseboard profiles are not standardized some time things line up nicely and you are able to install it with the element in place. Sometimes not. There are no specific instructions on how to attempt this. You are welcome to give me a call with questions. Chris 978 651 3301 Read Less

The web site states "The durable, baked-enamel finish can be used as is or serves as a great base for paint or wallpaper.". I want to know if I can apply a latex paint directly to the enlosure or is surface preparation required (deglossing, priming, etc.)? I plan to clean them first to remove any manufacturing oils, etc. Is anything more required?

Does this include the supports that can be slid into place? Or is it just the external cover pieces (front and back)?

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not for replacements Bought this to replace some baseboards that were rusted. Does not lend itself to this type of installation as the support brackets must go behind the heater coil. June 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good, but how deep ? the product was very good and installed easily. I did not think to measure the depth of the product and when installing had to bend all the fins down in the front so that it would fit. wished I had measured the radiator heat dispersing fins and asked what the radiator cover was designed to handle. I have done this on 2 other radiator replacements and there was never an issue October 22, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product is more attractive than the previous radiator covers that we had. The product was not a perfect fit for the radiator, but we made it work. The enclosure looks neat and sleek, compared to the old cover we had. November 14, 2013
