Slant Fin 30 series baseboard is designed to accommodate a return line. That is why the enclosure is a little taller than there others. If your feed and return pipe are on the same end, you would run the return pipe on top of the element. You will notice notches in the support brackets to allow it to pass. Remember to support the return pipe but not to tight as the pipe will expand when heated and you Read More

You can use pex to hook up baseboard and it is done a lot. However you must not use the pex designed for potable water, Often refereed to as Aquapex. You must use Heat Pex which is designed for closed loop heating systems. Oxygen will go through the wall of aquapex and destroy your heating system. Heat pex has an oxygen barrier to protect the inside of your heating system. Some people say it does not Read More

Because heat pex is more expensive, i have seen situations where it has been used because of ignorance or negligence.
