We would like to hang this unit from our solid-roof patio cover. Can it be mounted just a few inches down? or does it need to hang lower to prevent heat from damaging the patio cover?

Answer:
Please contact Customer Service directly if the bulbs burn out. Depending on the age of the unit, bulbs may be covered under warranty, or other arrangements can be made regarding a new burner. The bulbs are not very easy to replace.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to Hang & Use!! I purchased this to heat my garage for our family Christmas dinner. I have a small home and hosted 25 people! My garage is not insulated and it was about 30degrees outside that day. Everyone was very comfortable! I rolled out a carpet remnant and put up tables & chairs and decorated with Christmas tree & all!! December 31, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Heat Lamp This is the second heat lamp I bought. Great for fall and to just take the chill off. The bonus for me is that it is not a big bulky item in the middle of the floor that can be tripped over/ on-to or knocked over. It doesn't use propane that has to be refilled all the time. Just plug it in and it heats instantly. November 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Warm and comfy This is huge! Love the finish. Keeps the chill off. Perfect for our needs. February 22, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to install and overall quality is good. We just installed this on our small deck and seems to do what we wanted. January 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good workspace heater Received this halogen heater a few weeks ago. My attached garage gets down to the mid-lower 40's during freezing weather. Quick and easy to hang with the provided chain in the garage above my workbench. Have used several times. Doesn't heat the whole garage but does knock the chill off in the general work area to allow me to get some projects done. February 10, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not much heat The heater is attrative and easy to hang and easy to use. It is more of a heat lamp than a patio heater. You need to be close and right under it to feel the heat. That is the way I am using it anyway. As far as the value, it is priced the same as the tall LPG heaters. February 10, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good We are currently using it on a covered patio. It has not been really cold yet, but we have been nice and cozy with no jackets or blankets watching Monday night football outside when it is only 50 degrees. The real test will be in the winter when we move it to my uninsulated shop and see how it does there. It is a nice looking unit and we like not having to use floor space. We also like being able to use it in an enclosed are that you cannot do with the propane units. October 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great This product increased the amount of time we could enjoy our outdoor time this fall. Excellent product. Can't wait till spring. We'll be out there again in March, two months before everyone else. November 4, 2014
