46,000 BTU Hammered Bronze Propane Gas Patio Heater is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 160.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Pleased We bought this heater in late October and are very happy with it. We have not had many opportunities to use it yet, because we have had an unusually warm Fall season this year, but it puts out enough heat to allow my wife and me to enjoy our deck in the evenings now that the temperatures have finally begun to drop. Assembly instructions were easy to understand, and it took me about an hour and a half working by myself to complete the assembly. All the parts fit together well, and there was no missing hardware. The hammered bronze finish is beautiful! I like the wheels, which allow me to move the heater quite easily. I would definitely recommend this heater.

We purchased two Fire Sense 46,000 BTU patio heaters, in early November 2016, and are very happy with them. The instructions for assembly were easy to follow and they have worked flawlessly over the past month. We have a large patio with two dining tables and the heaters do a great job keeping everyone warm. The bronze finish looks nice, but if we were to do it over again, we'd order the stainless steel. This product met all of our expectations and we'd definitely recommend it.

Nice too that replacement parts can be ordered as needed. Very pleased ...and purchased this one after reading all the great reviews...don't know how long it will last...and how much rust will occur...but if I can get replacement parts...and it continues to function well..it is will a permanent patio fixture. Also bought the upgrade aluminum solid piece reflector top...for prof upgrade ...as I liked this color and style, matches the desk...and has nice texture..but wanted the professional durable solid piece reflector top...glad I did...nice...filled the base with sand for weight stability, so it can withstand wind...and wheels make it easy to move around. So very pleased. Great Xmas gift for my husband since the old one doesn't work anymore...different brand....so now he gets to enjoy breakfast on the deck again in the winter and fall.

I had researched patio heaters until I was blue in the face. I had learned that they vary in price by hundreds of dollars. After much reading, I felt like this particular one was the best way to go within the price point I was in. I am very pleased with it. It puts out a lot of heat. I will say this though, some reviews I had read said it radiates as much as eight feet, others said around 4. My experience is if you have a day with no breeze whatsoever, you may get as much as 8 feet of heat radiation. But, if there is a light breeze, the radius of heat is reduced dramatically. If you sit down wind, you will feel the heat. This of course has nothing to do with the quality or effectiveness of the heater, but, rather, the simple laws of physics. So in short, buy the heater. It seems to do a pretty good job, and it looks great, is easy to light, has a base that can be filled with sand to prevent from being blown over, and is not difficult to assemble. I'd buy another if I needed to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Propane Heater Value Purchased this last week as a Christmas gift. He couldn't wait to assemble it and try it out. Easily heats a 2 1/2 vehicle ventilated garage with 10' ceilings. Had too regulate it to near lowest setting to keep it from over heating this 240 cubic foot space. Professionally packed, with very little cosmetic box damage. Unit was assembled in about an hour due to the parts being blister packed and clearly marked. Instructions were fairly good but not truly needed all that much. The Hammered finish is appealing/attractive enough for us to get more winter patio use! Haven't had it long enough to verify how fuel efficient this unit is but I suspect it is very fuel efficient. However, our 'initial' run was 12 1/2 hours long and it hardly used any LP out of a 20 LB 'er.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Taller and wider than others, easy to maneouver Took a bit of time to assemble, but the instructions were clear (pictures could be larger though). I did not even realize that there was a sand base, but that adds quite a bit of stability when filled properly. The heater started up first time and throws ample heat. I had a lower grade (non-branded) version that lasted a bit more than a year. I expect this one to be a longer investment, especially since I also purchased the full length cover and will bring it inside when the snow arrives.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great heater, but horrible assembly directions! Have used this 3 times when outdoor temps were around the low 30's. Generates nice heat in about an 8-10' effective radius at the high setting. Sturdy unit with parts that fit well (when you figure out where they go) with what seems to be a durable finish. The people responsible for putting together the assembly manual however, REALLY need to get their act together. Drawings are illegible in several areas, parts are both listed + numbered differently from one page to the next and unclear (or no guidance) as to the positioning on many of the parts. Most of the problems are with the base assembly. Another point: They claim 60 minutes to assemble? Removing the blue protective plastic from the shields alone was 30 minutes! Count on about 2 hours. Would have given this 4 stars, had their directions been more professional.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good looks ;will go well in poolhouse Christmas was glorious as we un boxed and assembled this beautiful heater; about 45 minutes we were ready to fire the heater; we placed blocks on the base instead of water due to our freezing temps; we will eventually place sand or antifreeze; the heater was easy to start and adjust; it is glorious to sit under for those chilly Indiana nights; the tank is well hidden ; we look forward to many hours under this heater;
