Can this heater be used on a screened porch?

The porch is covered with a ~12 foot gabled roof. There is screen on one full side, about 5 fee high and on about half of two other walls, also about 5 feet high? The area is well ventilated, but is not completely outside.

46,000 BTU Stainless Steel Propane Gas Commercial Patio Heater is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 182.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Pleased We bought this heater in late October and are very happy with it. We have not had many opportunities to use it yet, because we have had an unusually warm Fall season this year, but it puts out enough heat to allow my wife and me to enjoy our deck in the evenings now that the temperatures have finally begun to drop. Assembly instructions were easy to understand, and it took me about an hour and a half working by myself to complete the assembly. All the parts fit together well, and there was no missing hardware. The hammered bronze finish is beautiful! I like the wheels, which allow me to move the heater quite easily. I would definitely recommend this heater.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Much As Advertised Bought this about two weeks ago. Assembly went fine though there are some errors in the description of the bolts used in the manual. All parts were included, though the tank cover cylinder was dented. I called, and they are sending out a new tank cover after I provided proof via a photo, so not a hassle at all. Unit really keeps two people warm, an area about 6 feet across. Overall, a good value for the price. I may buy another. Only negative is the heat shield on top is pretty thin. If this thing ever blows over, the heat shield will fold like aluminum foil.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Propane Heater Value Purchased this last week as a Christmas gift. He couldn't wait to assemble it and try it out. Easily heats a 2 1/2 vehicle ventilated garage with 10' ceilings. Had too regulate it to near lowest setting to keep it from over heating this 240 cubic foot space. Professionally packed, with very little cosmetic box damage. Unit was assembled in about an hour due to the parts being blister packed and clearly marked. Instructions were fairly good but not truly needed all that much. The Hammered finish is appealing/attractive enough for us to get more winter patio use! Haven't had it long enough to verify how fuel efficient this unit is but I suspect it is very fuel efficient. However, our 'initial' run was 12 1/2 hours long and it hardly used any LP out of a 20 LB 'er.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Taller and wider than others, easy to maneouver Took a bit of time to assemble, but the instructions were clear (pictures could be larger though). I did not even realize that there was a sand base, but that adds quite a bit of stability when filled properly. The heater started up first time and throws ample heat. I had a lower grade (non-branded) version that lasted a bit more than a year. I expect this one to be a longer investment, especially since I also purchased the full length cover and will bring it inside when the snow arrives.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great heater, but horrible assembly directions! Have used this 3 times when outdoor temps were around the low 30's. Generates nice heat in about an 8-10' effective radius at the high setting. Sturdy unit with parts that fit well (when you figure out where they go) with what seems to be a durable finish. The people responsible for putting together the assembly manual however, REALLY need to get their act together. Drawings are illegible in several areas, parts are both listed + numbered differently from one page to the next and unclear (or no guidance) as to the positioning on many of the parts. Most of the problems are with the base assembly. Another point: They claim 60 minutes to assemble? Removing the blue protective plastic from the shields alone was 30 minutes! Count on about 2 hours. Would have given this 4 stars, had their directions been more professional.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best-without a doubt I recently purchased a model 1775- 46,000 BTU Stainless Steel Propane Gas Commercial Patio Heater. It took a little time to put it together-even with the great instructions. However, it was definitely worth it. The heater puts out an even heat and covers our entire 32ft x 12ft deck. We sat out in 47-50 degree weather without any problems because of the quality of this patio heater. Not only that but it looks really classy too. The stainless steel is beautiful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good looks ;will go well in poolhouse Christmas was glorious as we un boxed and assembled this beautiful heater; about 45 minutes we were ready to fire the heater; we placed blocks on the base instead of water due to our freezing temps; we will eventually place sand or antifreeze; the heater was easy to start and adjust; it is glorious to sit under for those chilly Indiana nights; the tank is well hidden ; we look forward to many hours under this heater;

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful addition to the patio! I purchased two of these last year as Christmas gifts for my children's homes. They both loved them. This year my husband bought me one for Christmas. I did the assembly myself and was very pleased with the whole process. It works great and it a beautiful heater as well. I love to drink my morning coffee on the back porch so when the colder temps hit I can now continue to enjoy being outside. Great product!
