The Notebook Grill is perfect for those occasions when you don't need to prepare a ton of food, perhaps just a few items for one or two people. The unit and all its components appear to be well constructed and made of heavy gauge materials. And the design that folds up to about the size of a laptop computer (one with a big screen) is brilliant. It takes up almost zero storage space. It slips easily into any skinny space, much like a book on a library shelf. I don't know how well it will hold up over time, but my initial impressions are all very positive.

Bought this for a cross-country camping trip. We have a small car so this fold-up design is perfect!

This sweet little grill makes grilling out while car camping or tailgating a breeze. It's light weight, packs away easily, but still has enough grilling surface to cook for quite a few people. This grill maybe the best $20 investment I have made in sometime. I would recommend pairing this grill with a little charcoal starter chimney. Too bad this grill isn't made in America.

The concept was good and looked usable on tv, for an intimate setting. Screws were not in place, assembly required. Clip for side wings do not stay attached, making use of the grill difficult. Connecting clips for 3 piece grill top flimsy and unmanageable, while the bottom grill for coals did not set properly. Overall, spent more time adjusting and reassembling than using. Great idea, poor execution.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lynnbug Nice compact grill
This is a great little charcoal grill perfect for car camping or tailgating. The best part about it is the ability to fold up and store inside the box it came in. You just let it cool, dump the ashes, fold the grates into the center, collapse the sides and slide it back into the box - pick up by the handle and you're done. Great idea for a portable charcoal grill.

Well, it did nicely cook our food on a camping trip, but it's not built to last.

You get what you pay for.
