Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My new favorite gloves -- far better than expensive synthetic leather gloves! After wearing out numerous pairs of the synthetic leather gloves which cost 10 to 20 bucks each, I saw these. They looked quite cheap and I was dubious, but at less than a buck each they were certainly worth giving a try. Well, I have to tell you that I have been absolutely stunned at their feel and performance! Not only are they 1/10 to 1/20 the price, but they are far better in almost every aspect than the expensive gloves. They are more comfortable, they are cooler in hot weather (the back breathes), they are actually more flexible (picking up a dime is no problem), have far better grip, and the latex part is waterproof (you can use them for spray cleaning tasks without getting either your hands or the gloves wet). If they do get wet, unlike synthetic leather gloves they are still fairly comfortable to wear wet and dry pretty fast. I've now purchased two packs (a dozen pairs) and have yet to wear any out (since I haven't worn any out I don't know how long they will actually last, but I would have worn through several pairs of the expensive gloves by now). Plus, they are so cheap I can keep a pair dedicated to each of multiple locations (gar, garage, storage units, etc). My uses involve moving lots of boxes, automotive repairs, sorting computer circuit boards (tears up your hands but doesn't faze these gloves), cleaning, etc. When they get dirty, just throw them in the wash (they clean up beautifully) and then let air dry. The only negative I can think of is they are not exactly stylish (I guess the orange palms would help if you ever need to direct traffic). After about six months of using these gloves, I am definitely sold! January 18, 2014
