I did used to get 9 to 12 months out of a pair. Stitching in palms goes first . Next index finger gets a hole in it . then stitching in thumb goes & it's time for a new pair of gloves. Medium is a good fit for me I get enough dexterity to do most work. I have used this brand for about 5 years. The pattern of deterioration is about the same for each pair. The last 3 pair seem to fall apart faster than the first 3 pair. This is my 7th pair of these gloves. They give good protection while they last.

They are comfortable, but they are not sturdy enough for what I do. I am a Steward in the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy, and a Crew Leader for trail maintenance. I bought this pair on April 30, and they showed wear on the fingers the first time I used them. Usually what happens is the fingers get holes in them, but once the thread holding the fingers together just disintegrated. This happens within a month or two. Other members of my crew also wear these gloves and have the same problem. I have tried other gloves from Home Depot, and from other stores. None of them hold up to working on the trail with a pick! These are the best I can find, so I guess I will keep buying them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute waste of money Bought these to do yard work. Moving some paver stones, laying mulch, and raking out some gravel. After 4 hours of work the stitching came apart on the left glove and the thumb is coming off. The right glove wore a hole through the middle finger and after the first hour the reinforced palm was coming off. I would keep searching if looking for durable gloves.

These are poor quality gloves that I'd only recommend if you don't want to ruin a nicer, more expensive pair of mechanics gloves. They get the job done, but don't last very long. I've purchased several pairs to use while working with brick pavers, and the results are always the same. I usually wear through one of the fingers and the stitching usually comes apart on the fingers or around the palm.

I have not used these yet but just when putting them on the stitching on one of them is already coming undone. It is still closed since it is double stitching but I wonder how long they will last. When buying be sure to really inspect all seams as it seems they sometime sew them very close to the edge which is why they bust open. They are a very comfortable glove. I hope they hold up.

A joy to wear, doesn't bind anywhere. Think I'll pick up another pair for a spare. Thank goodness my husband hands are too large for MY medium gloves. Haven't used them around water yet, don't know how that will affect them. had them for a few weeks now, no complaints yet.

These gloves are the most comfortable to wear while working on any project in the yard or around the house when you want to keep your hands clean of the grime or protection from mesquite thorns and cactus. I just wish they would last a little longer, although I use mine daily outside and put them through a grueling workout.

Thus this is for a replacement pair. I enjoy the overall feel of the leather. They hold up well for general overall use, grip well and especially help to protect my hands. It is usually difficult to find them in the small size, so when I saw these, I latched onto them.
