Customer Questions & Answers

Do you know how to get in contact with the manufacturer of these gloves? The fingers always tear on me.

Asked by: Mbake19
You probably overuse the glove. Mine did tear but after three years of regular summer use when yardwork is daily/weekly activity. Also, try to get a larger size. That might help.

Are they good for handling hot lights?

I am working on film sets and need a good pair of gloves to handle hot lights.
Asked by: Maggie
I never handled hot lights with these gloves but they are thick and high quality.

I ordered these gloves and received a different style.

The ones that arrived where bright yellow. I was looking to receive exactly what I ordered. I really like the style shown, is there any way to get them?
Asked by: gatheringgrounds
It appears you received the wrong item in error. If this is the case you can return them to any Home Depot store. Bring item and receipt to the customer service desk and explain the error. The item you ordered is usually an in stock item. If getting to a Home Depot store is not an option for you, you can call the Home Depot customer service line and explain to them the error and they will arrange for you to get the correct item. Have your order number handy when calling. Customer service number is 1-800-HOME DEPOT (1-800-466-3337).

Large General Purpose Gloves is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 633.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Protective work gloves These gloves have small size to fit my hands and padding to protect the palm. Fabic back gives hand flexibility and reinforced fingers enabled a lot of rough or dirt work. Not recommended for working with wet dirt as moisture get through pretty quickly. Solid gloves for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "FG" firm grip gloves unlike some of the less expensive these come in sizes, pleasing texture and (for the thickness) very durable. while not made for wet working conditions they dry well and retain/regain supelness easily using them for years an excellent value

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hot, Tough Glove This reinforced glove works well for brush removal with the leather reinforcements giving extra protection from multifora rose spines. These thicker gloves are not vented, so the hands get a little warm wearing them in hot weather.....

I'm on my third pair of these gloves because they fit well, are comfortable and inexpensive. The first pair I lost a glove, but don't recall any problems. The second pair ripped a hole in the leather of one finger so I bought a third pair. They started falling apart after a few hours of chopping firewood. The electronic compatible coating disintegrated quickly just from handing logs - I assume rubbed off from the bark. While comfortable and inexpensive, I'll not buy them again since they just don't hold up doing any kind of work that requires a work glove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and breathes well I use these while working on the car, unless I'm working directly with fluids. They are comfortable, padded well enough for turning wrenches, and they breath well enough keeping your hands from getting too hot or sweaty. I would normally get a large size, but I got medium on purpose so that I would have a better chance picking up washers off the workbench or floor. The fingertip touch pads for screen use work well. I've worn them for about 12 hours total, so far, and they show no signs of coming apart. They seem to be worth the $10 I paid for them.

I bought these gloves primarily to keep my hands off the cold steering wheel while driving in the Minnesota winter. No complaints on that as of yet. I have one negative comment, they are not water resistant. I was wearing them last Sunday, after a small accumulation of snow, while cutting down and bucking a tree that had been blown over onto my shed. The wet snow went right through them. Now this does not effect their ability as a work glove, but my hands were getting way too cold and I had to remove them. Otherwise they have been great so far.

These gloves are a much higher quality than I expected to get for about $10.00. They fit well, and aren't too bulky to do some tasks that require some dexterity. I've had them a few weeks now, and have used them while chainsawing, basic yard work, and even for some work on my car. They are not heavy duty work gloves, but offer a good level of protection for your hands. They are supposed to work on touch screens, but I haven't used them for this purpose.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Was not good product for the price I do a lot of different sorts of jobs using various tools and I always wear gloves and the sort of glove I wear depends on the sort of work. I purchased these to allow me to do many post holes in difficult soil/ rocky ground. I had the stitching go bad on both pairs in only 2 days of wearing the gloves. I have done this sort of work many times in the very same sort of ground and conditions and never had gloved blow out as fast as these did.
