i have used many many different gloves, and most are fine. I selected this glove because it has the mesh across the back of the, and they are leather.

This is an inferior product and is not worth purchasing. After very light use the mesh material stretched to the point that the glove would not stay secure on the hand. The glove offers no dexterity at all in the finger area.

The fingers didn't last through the weekend! Picked up the gloves to protect my hands from debris from a demo job (travertine & thin set); the fingers tore out on the ends. I would recommend them for garden work but not heavy duty work.

Light Duty: Yes
Heavy Duty: No
I have not had these long enough to give a review of durability over time. I consider these to be light duty work gloves. I've used them about six times doing average light duty work: using hand tools such as shovels and hammers. The glove hold up well to this level of work. They are a thin pliable leather which makes for easy manipulation of small items. I can pick up a pen and operate switches on hand tools. I doubt that I could combine a 1/4" nut and bolt.
My experience with leather gloves suggests that these will not hold up to heavy duty use such as handling CMUs (concrete blocks) or any weighty, abrasive material. The leather is too thin for heavy duty but, spot on for light to medium duty.
The design is well thought out and fits comfortably. The fingers are of a good length. The mesh on the back allows for a good amount of airflow.
On the downside, I suspect as with most light duty gloves the stitching will not hold up over time. On the pair I have, I can see where the stitching along the palm/thumb seam is too close to the edge of the material and will likely pull free.
Overall a good glove for light use.
