Answer:
Probably not good for someone whose job is construction. They are not heavy-duty. They would not last very long and also would not provide as good protection as heavier gloves. I like them because they are inexpensive and I can throw them in the washing machine, but I only use them for a few hours a week.

I would not recommend these as construction grade. They would wear out very quickly in that type of environment.

I wear them for both yard work and construction projects around the house. They are nice and comfortable, the only job I would not use them for is using adhesive type jobs.

Answer:
Depending on the construction he is doing. If he does a lot of heavy construction (commercial), the gloves might last a day. If he is building houses, then it is possible a pair would last him a week. I have purchased the three pack and all I did was yard work; the three pair lasted me six months.

Answer:
Yes. I use them for gardening and volunteer construction (Habitat for Humanity). They wash very well. They are not heavy duty; it's usually the fingers that wear-through first.

They did at one point, at least a year ago. The medium 3 pack had blue, pink and multi-colored gloves. I find the Large to be too large if you require more precise dexterity. The Medium pack was perfect for my small hands. I'm hoping they stock these again.

Answer:
Not that I am aware of. I have only seen the Large and Extra Large at the store. I have both sizes; the extra large for me and the large for my wife. I can wear either size comfortably. My wife, who has much smaller hands, can wear the large without issue. I think they run on the small size with lots of stretch. Try the large, I think you will find them acceptable.

Don't know, but probably not. Although, they are reinforced around the finger tips and palm area so they may be at least tear-resistant.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 339 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great gloves These gloves are great for light and medium use. I especially like the material on the inside of the glove that allows them to slide on and off my hands easily. Obviously they aren't designed for heavy duty use but they are good gloves for the price. May 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super light weight sturdy around the house and professional work gloves. You will not find a better buy on around the house work gloves. They wear out as fast as any $20 pair of deerskin or cowhide gloves, they are flexible and the price cannot be beat at any store. I normally wear out the finger tips on the right hand glove first, replacing it with another from same set (mfg) and keep on going without having a good left hand glove which does not feel the same as the right hand. Additionally, I keep the sets of gloves dispersed for specific uses such as garden and yard work, working on my vehicles or tractors, painting, woodworking and just putting around doing stuff at home. A great set of gloves at a better than average low cost. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great work Gloves Took three pair to the humid and tough tropical environment of Guatemala to build a schoolhouse in a remote farming village. Working with block and rough heavy wood the gloves held out for five days with no tears or holes. They fit perfectly, not to loose nor too tight. Totally durable! April 5, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Look Nice but don't last I purchased the 3-pack in hopes the pack would last as long if not longer than if I purchased a more expensive set of gloves. During my second wear of the red they tore in two places on the seem. The second pair lasted 50% longer as they tore on the 3rd time I wore them. I'm on to the last pair yellow next weekend. Time for some brick work so not sure if they will make is past one day. I guess you get what you pay for. In all fairness if you don't do heavy construction work they may last longer. You may want to come price with other gloves. July 11, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not so good The synthetic leather does not last very long. I purchased these gloves approximately 3 months ago and when I went to use a pair for the first time, the leather portion of the glove deteriorated and left the glove with a very thin material, which does not protect your hands from any sharp objects, not even splintered wood. Although, the price is really good, it doesn't matter, if you can't make use of the gloves. July 12, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Missing a glove I had purchased these gloves before and found them quite durable, however when I bought them last week and opened the bag at home, one glove was missing , only the left hand glove , otherwise ok and a good value , June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good gloves Good gloves for the price. Have purchased many sets If you get them to dirty just throw them away and get more June 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great for light work Working with cement bricks wears them quickly but a good deal for general yard work. July 5, 2016
