The answer is, yes and no.
The material is water proof, but when you wear them and dip your hands in the water, it will get inside.
It is not meant to be used with wet applications.

I rotate the gloves as they get to damp to use. Hope this Helped... Read Less

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 44 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great general purpose gloves! These gloves are very comfortable and light on your hands. They also provide a great grip on almost any surface. The material on the top side of the hand is very breathable, but in turn is thin and does not provide very much protection. I would recommend these gloves for general purpose use, they are great and very cost effective. March 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great gloves for a great price. Just "happened" to see these gloves on display and the price was really great, so I bought the package of 10 pair.. A construction project that I have been involved with was running into obstacles. There was a particular procedure that needed to be done and it was found that the rubbery tips on the gloves were the ticket to accomplish what needed to be done. ...since then bought a second packet of these gloves. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great gloves for the money! I have been wearing these gloves for close to three years now. I work for a distribution company and handle hundreds of boxes daily. These gloves are great for protecting your hands but still letting you fell what you are gripping! A pair will last me a least a week if not longer. December 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Firm Grip Nitrile coated gloves - 10pack - Perfect semi-disposable Bought them as protection for clearing brush and avoiding poison ivy in the back yard. I wanted protection but a glove cheap enough to throw out after use. I knew it would take several days to perform the task so I needed multiple pair and didn't want to spend too much. These did the trick and I found the dexterity was better than expected too when I was pulling weeds. The back breaths some so they don't get too hot and they pull up on your wrist comfortably. Don't usually write reviews but these deserved it. Warning, still got a touch of ivy between my long sleeve shirt and the gloves so I recommend a little more protection in that area if you will be doing the same. October 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great Great for working whith sand paper and gardening.:) April 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Best Work Gloves Ever I found a pair of these when I was cleaning out a rental property, put 'em on and by the end of the day I was sold. My hands are medium large and the fit was excellent. They are comfortable and durable and a fantastic value. The snug fit allows for great tactile feedback, making these great for assembly tasks, while the nitrile coated fingers and palms provide great grip and protection against casual contact with many chemicals. I got the model number from the tag and looked them up online and found the ten pack available at my favorite Home Depot! I have used them for everything from repointing mortar joints to chopping hot peppers for the freezer. These are going to make Christmas shopping for my brothers in law easy this year! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by awesome gloves, great price! We bought these for landscaping our yard, they are awesome for moving cinderblock! They will save your hands from getting cut up, and getting blisters. They grip everything but are flexible enough you can handle small hardware. They are well worth buying for every home project! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by not too shabby If you break it down its a dollar a pair, it does its job i go through a pair a week at my job considering how much abuse they go through it very impressive. if you plan to to electrical work then avoid these, but for extra grip and protection for your hands go for it.
